If you wish to vote for a manufacturer not mentioned - then post, and I will include votes for them below
EDIT] Please note that while the Poll says 'Lo Tech', it should in fact read 'Hi Tech' - I shouldn't copy and paste without paying attention
So many members online, so little posting - so I thought I'd start a couple of simulataneous Polls, commenting is encouraged
Basically, in this thread I'd like to know which manufacturer you Hi-Tech players prefer, and any reasons [although you don't have to post if you don't want!]
Hi-Tech machines are those with more than just Reel Wins and Streaks, they will have a Feature Game, normally involving moving round a board collecting cash/features/nudges and are the sort found in pubs, take aways, e.t.c. For the purpose of this poll, the maximum jackpot value is £25, I've made a seperate poll for Club machines [£75 JP and over].
If you are unaware about the manufacturer of any games, just ask and I'm sure you'll get a fairly quick reply!
Also, I do not work in any Fruit Machine sector, and the poll is to get people talking about stuff, and also because I'm just interested
While I haven't checked when the last poll of this sort was started, with the site now at about 32000 members, I think there should be an interesting set of results!
If I missed a manufacturer out, post it as well and I'll add it [if possible!]

red gaming because these tend to repeat a fair bit and dont have £2-£3 blocks when playing badly. Thats my opinion, feel free to tear it apart lol. I used to prefer Barcrest in the days of Spike, Monty Python, Son of Dracula etc but nowadays Barcrest suck tbh

I've voted for Barcrest simply because up until I gave up gambling a few years ago I always found them to be more playable and value for money (If there is such a thing). They didn't tend to bleed several people dry before handing out 5-6 JP's in a row and then clamming up again.

Yeah, even though I've given up, I liked the pre 2002 Barcrests, stuff like Spiker, Monty, up to Supercharged and Cash Attack. I was addicted to Red machines in 2001 [damn that RedX!], but I'd have to say my favourite [several appaling machines aside], is still Barcrest - Did the name and logo give it away?

Has to be the JPMs of the early 90's for me. Indiana Jones, MoneyTalks, Sonic the Hedgehog et al. My all time favourite was probably Instant Jackpots (a bellfruit I believe) but overall it has to be JPM.

Always nice to see a 1st time poster
For machines of that age, I still preferred the Andy Capp, Viva Las Vegas et al, seems the JPMs were more prone to 'saving up' for a sequence of JPs rather than the Barcrests which offered more feature entries....but then I was hardly a 'serious' player of the machines so I'm probably the only person that feels like that

Have always preferred Barcrests for a more player friendly game in general athough i must admit to hating any of their hi/ho type games of late ( cash, bang wallop ect )
Maygays are always worth a mention during their srceen play era too, maybe not if you play the wrong un though.
Having played some of Extremes latest machines i aint too impressed with them, i thought their first couple of releases were ok ( cashino anyway )
Red's i just dont get at all.... i'll take a back seat.
Vivids....... nah, no appeal whatsoever.
P.C.P on the otherhand, where are they when you need them.I loved Alladins cave and Masterspy ( still got the top glass ) !
Enjoyed playing Electrocoins hi tech's.Still even play a 5p.£6 jp Labyrinth everytime i visit a certain arcade.

barcrest for me! theres always something appealing about the older machines like psycho cash beast.not just the content, but the whole design of the cabs and artwork.
always found these eye catching, which from barcrests point of view is good as it draws in occasional arcade visiters like me.

not sure who its by... but the £25 of monopaly with the superboard is the only hi-tech casino game i play....love it
but for non casino i still hold a heart for JPM's crazy fruits... only cause its the first game i ever played...
u sure u wouldnt count stuff like party games and the plasma screen monpaly as hi-tech? they do have feature boards after all ;-)

Monopoly where you need 3 symbols from the bottom board to get the superboard is by Bell Fruit
Never heard of a JPM Crazy Fruits, the one with the Banana Bonanza, the Nudge Ladder and the Shots Matrix and stuff is by Bell Fruits. The casino version was by Bell Fruits as well, and I think 'Classic Crazy Fruits' was something to do with Empire?
I'll keep all Astra machines as Lo Techs, even if it isn't 100% true. You won't get them in pubs, only in Arcades, Bingo Halls, e.t.c.

I like the maygay machines recently such as the simpsons series and italian job. I think maygay have some great sounds in their machines. This is what i voted for although I also do like barcrest games for originallity and JPM for some of their machines.
