Ok well at long last I have got round to looking at some of the non-runners.
Sunday sport is an interesting problem.
I have emulated the data port and the game boots up. I can get into test mode and the game works.
If I boot in door closed mode the game starts up, spins the reels, lights the reel lamps, and then stops.
Door is responsive still, the game is running in the cpu, but refuses to continue. I am assuming that the game is waiting for the sound card to report as "ready". If i can get a little help I may be able to fake the "ready" signal to at least run the game.
Looking at the manual it has a special sound card, which also has a data port on it (see picture).
Aside from the issue of having no idea what the microprocessor would be doing, we have no sound roms (that I could find).
If anyone has any pictures of the sound/prom card that would be very usefull. Or if anyone can even tell me where the card was attached. Even the sound ROM might give a few pointers.
With just a bit more information I should be able to make the game playable.
A little help please guys.
