Lol I think that a lot just reading some posts and replies :err: on the site.

There are quiz machine emulations  that can be obtained from the repro. I have played some and had a go at downloading them but it all got confusing with the sonar mouse bit :realmad: ,so I gave it up and deleted all I had.

Widget.. I think you misunderstand what fme is all about.. its about reliving old memories... its about keeping older machines alive because they cant break down etc.. its not about playing the most up to date machines. Because a) most of us couldn't give a monkeys about newer machines being emulated and secondly.. legal reasons. If you want to hack away at the programmes that gameswarehouse spend thousands on and then release it and subsequently get yourself sued.. fine.. but dont drag this wonderful site/community with you

Wow.. yeh you definately know what your talking about.  Nope the files on cliffs repro are either protected eg dont run.. or are old games that are floating so much around cyber space that it couldnt possibly be traced to one particular place. Secondly the "newer" machines your talking about.. which ones are they.. well your either talking about the new work mame are working on regarding deal or no deal (debugger stage, not remotely playable). or the mpu5/scorp4 machines. Well lets break that down.. as of 2009 or around that time barcrest and bellfruit (and others of course) changed part of their systems layouts/security which in turn means they will not run.. so anything later than say snakes and ladders for on the current emulator. bellfruit and the last barcrests in the old cabinet.. simply wont run. Now what service station or pubs can you go in and find these older machines. . Not many.. so they are preserved electronically.. whereas anyone can go on ebay and buy a bearded twat machine or go into any arcade/pub etc and find a dond.

But of course you knew that already

2009?!! It was much earlier than that. More like 2005.

I used to play the IND:E games quite a bit, but haven't fired them up for a while, really should do. Will try them on my touchscreen laptop tomorrow and see how it goes, will be much better playing them in the way they are intended :D
