Hi Kev,
You should be able to play all of your old MFME machines from MFMEv2, although when you open them, you will need to change the speed to make them work. Do this by going to the 'Config' menu in MFMEv2, and changing the value in the top box in the bottom right of that window, in the frame called 'Speed'.
Unlike MFMEv1, in v2 the HIGHER the value of speed, the faster the machine will run. Don't be surprised if you need to increase it a lot, something like 50000 seems right for some people. The bottom of the 2 boxes is only used for layouts using Video [i.e Crystal Maze SWP], or DOT MARTIX displays [i.e Cops N Robbers Club].
Some people recommend replacing the original MFMEv1.exe with the MFMEv2.exe, so that all the shortcuts you have will automatically load the new emulator. If you decide to do this, but change your mind later, just download MFMEv1 and overwrite it
If you need any more help, let us know

You can use both emulators no problem. Put all the machines in a new folder and point both emulators at this folder. Remember to label your new downloaded games though as some older games (JPM & Bell fruit for obvious reasons) won't work on the new emulator.
