Hi all.
I have bought a royale family bell fruit machine it turns on and then has £3 credit and £7 prize in it but wen u use the credit u press payout and nothing happens it just goes down and no money comes out. Then it turns to free play with £1.50 credit and also wen u play on it it comes up with err 10 randomly can be after 2 minutes of playing or half hour. I just want it to work normally and payout. Does anyone have a clue. I am in Milton Keynes if anyone is a genius on them ha ha.

It sounds like its on free play one of the spade plugs have probs been removed from the door switch, have a look and see if you can see one removed and plug it back in.It will then go in to normal door closed mode. The switch will be white with a kind of flexi point which can be pressed in and out( that's my best description of a door switch at this time :D.

Ok well the one with 4 on top door has probs had em switched around so it thinks the doors open.Make a note of their positions, now maybe take a pic on your phone, then try to swap em about until you get it back in door closed mode.

I agree with Tommy, but if you were sold the machine as fully working, I'd be inclined to contact the seller. Wouldn't be the first time I'd seen a machine sold on free-play due to it having 'issues' (faulty PSU, mainboard, hopper, coin-mech, e.t.c.).

Hopefully you will get it sorted though, it definitely sounds like it has had door switches swapped over.

Brilliant I will give it a go the bottom switch has 4 wires the what I would call middle one only has 2 but the top one has 4 hope it works. Also I was sold it as seen. Will this wiring also correct the err 10 that comes up.

Error 10 (presuming this is a scorpion4 machine) is a coin mech error.

Check all wires are connected correctly, both to the mech and the motherboard, or take the coin mech out and give it a clean.

Does it show the error when you put money in it, or just randomly?

If randomly, I'd go for loose or broken wires.

Also is there a coin stuck in the mech?

Hi All,

Apologies to highlight this thread but I can seem to post a new topic and this seems to be talking about the same machine.

Complete newbie to fruit machine forum after Mrs bought me the machine above for my birthday so please be gentle. Im like a kid on christmas day and really eager to learn how to change a few system settings, I have the following questions if someone could assist?:

  1. The stake is currently set to 10p with £8 jackpot. In the unit there are lables implying that I can change jackpot to £25. How can I check if this is possible and if it is how can I change the payout to new values? I can see there is an 8part switch so presuming its to do with this?
  2. There are a few bulbs that need replacing wheres the best place in your opinion to get replacements?
  3. Having played it for a while the payout percentage seems far to high, Ive dropped it about 5 times with only £20. How do I check the percentage and change it?
  4. Does anyone know where I can source the manufacturer guide, ive looked on google for a while but had no joy.

Thanks to anyone that looks and helps.

Cheers

Dale
