Hi All,

Well, how joyously shite is "American Dream"? No wonder MDM didin't last!

I have never seen a machine with a flatter profile, does it ever pay more then a jackpot on the winning spins feature? Has anyone actually won a jackpot with three flags?

And as for "fast track" feature, what the HELL is all that about?! another "Sinclair C5" idea!

Yet the most stupefyingly and unadultared crapness of this machine is the fact that i could get a feature which paid £1.70p and the machine "Rounded it off" to £1.80p!!!! Is this the only machine ever made on £25.00 jackpot that pays 20'p's?!

Oh, and it isnt the whole real fruit machine scene summed up by the way in which every time a new machine comes out you end up saying "geez, this is a pile of shit", only for another new machine to be made and... "geez, now this IS a pile of shit, i quite liked the last one"

I have just visited the MDM site
if you go to products page they
have a rebuild machine called
"pink pussy" .
Now it looks like a remake on the
pink panther machine. Surley
they cant get away with calling

I think it is an interesting machine, although it is flat. Also, I play it on Fast Track, at least you don't get all of the dead spins before you hit the board. Maybe it is me, but you seem to get more feature entries per £10 say by using Fast Track?

If you get 3 flags, you get put on the feature board, and then have to add to either the cash or feature stack to be awarded the JP repeat. It can repeat, I had 2 repeats on it last night [ a JP which repeated twice, for £75].

MDM are also a distributor of machines, TBH they release about 1 machine a year [if lucky!], and focus on the distribution stuff.

For being a £25 machine,I got the jackpot quite quickly on the "American dream" feature,aka 3 flags,I have no qualms on this machine,speed ok,£25 jk,lots of features!!!!!

How many other machines are just coming up to their 3rd birthday,so we can expect them on here asap????

...one qualm,when the machine empties itself of coins,when it starts to pay out in 20p's Could you please change that sound,it makes my teeth go OTT!!!!

I don't get that bit about 20p wins, IMHO the machines can't possibly run out of £1 coins, and also, I'm sure it doesn't play a sound effect while paying out?

It would be easy enough [I think] to get rid of 20p payout, and make it round up wins. No doubt just a case of going into Config and unchecking the 2nd hopper....at least I would expect that to do it

O.k.,say you win more than a fiver,it will pay you out however much it owes u up till the last remaining £4 then it will pay the last £4 out in 20p's,hope you get what i mean now......

Any chance of having this one as a DX in MFME2?

..also how about CLUB GLADIATOR in MFME2 DX,or is that asking too much???? :

lol if Global can call a machine "How Big is Your Rock?", Pink Pussy sounds fair. Don't see their being too many complaints if you gives you a good fu©king either. lol

There is a [or was] a DX of American Dream in progress by Dannyboy, although he mentioned some problems with Access Errors, so it might be delayed, or even canned.

If it were canned I would take it up at this end - the artwork is available, so it shouldn't take too long to put together

As for Club Gladiator, I'm not aware of any plans to release it for MFMEv2. I would consider [if the artwork is publically available], making a 1024 WDX in MFMEv2 for it - I'm not sure if that was his personal flyer it was based on though

from an emulation point of view i really enjoyed this.

if i played it for real.....hmmmmm......no maybe not. BUT that really shouldn`t put anyone off downloading this,its nice to play a machine that deviates from the norm.(fast track)

if it happens i look forward to the DX.

I suppose you could say once you've played one MDM you've played them all, omiting their rebuild stuff of other concepts. Basically their original idea is always the same. One lapping board and several pots. A fairly flat profile to boot. No 'steals' to speak of.
That said, they do have their redeeming features. £5 Camelot was 'just a bit of fun' and sometimes the jackpot did repeat. If you got £15 it was going some. It did have a couple of steals once, ONCE, it was happy enough to give reel skill off bonus, but by then it was getting close enough to jackpot anyway.
This American Dream seems to take over the odds for two or three jackpots and then pay a jackpot within £5-10 of the last jackpot.
It's on 78% and this last 'quick' jackpot tends to bring it to around 76%, so I guess it saves very slowly for the jackpot repeat Bencrest was talking about. How much had been recycled though to get that Mr 'crest?
Bad side of the feature game is it's rather dull. You can see when your not going to get any further by lots of pointless nudges then death as you're one nudge off jackpot and all the pots are as high as they want to go.
Good side is the fast track feature. I think this is actually quite innovative. Although admiral's 'clock' idea is better than random letters on a trail in my opinion.
Now listen.....combine this with Nudgeman's idea for the night.

A 'fast track' style of quick play PLUS a turbo gamble option when in feature (think Tomb Raider) PLUS a high % above 90 and you can have a hi-tech with the turnover potential of a lo-tech.

Come on manufacturers - it's the future!

BFMs Hit Shot is not only a steaming heap of you know what, it is Scorpion 4 and therefore unemulatable.
