Hi guys, you may have seen my last thread where I got myself my first fruity, a 95 jpm rollercoaster.
I sorted out a few dead bulbs and it has been working fine, I turned it on, had a little play on demo mode, turned my back for 5 minutes and the alarm went off, nothing showing on the display and no lights on.
Switched it off and on and the alarm went off again.
Now nothing, just a random pop from the speaker like its stuck in a boot loop
Main board led not lit
Any clues ?

How strange, I pulled the power lead off the main board, refitted and it powered up. Worked for a little while and then the alarm went off again and its now dead again
Any ideas?

Found a rusty earth lead attached very loose to the power supply, cleaned it up and fitted it tight. Appears fixed now.
Maybe I should pull the earth off and see if the fault returns then I will know for sure if that was the problem

hows the battery look on the cpu board? keep your eye on that. I take that horrid battery off and replace with acoincell holder and battery also change resister to diode to stop charge from mains

Finally got round to filling it up with coins and its so much more fun than playing the emulated version. My 8 year old managed to get 2 repeats on test your strength. He was a bit gutted when I didn't let him keep the £30 he won though haha
