File Name: Super Two Dx by Barcrest

File Submitter: vectra666

File Submitted: 06 Nov 2013

File Category: MPU 3/4 DX Layouts

  Here we have Barcrest's Super Two a great machine from a great era in fruit machine playing.
I give many thanks to Launton from the Mecca who provided me with the images of his machine and the original reel bands thanks very much!!! and thanks to bugs bunny and Pete W for the original rom and classic layout from which I got 99% of the lamps from.  The cousin of this machine  "take two"  is one of my all time favourites so very happy to have dx'ed this version and it plays very well just had 5x's repeat for £2.40 and another three straight after and a jackpot so unfortunately the play maybe a bit hit and miss for a while.
 Shortcuts are
Start = spacebar,
Exchange = E,
Holds = 1,2,3,
Hi = 2,
Lo = 3,
Collect = C,
Cancel = ` ,
£££££'s in = 0,
Tokens = 9
 Plays in most Mfme's  but plays in Mfme10.1 best as that's what I used and 3.1 makes reel lamps turn off
 This should had reel1 lamps 0 and 8 but everytime I saved it, it deleted 0 so put no1 instead.

  Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!!!

Thank you Vecs. Downloaded and had a bash last night. A bit small for my liking but I know that is your style and you satisfy the lappy market, so who am I to argue. £14 in and losses until the Money Maker repeated 7 times for £16.80 in the bank. Second biggest jackpot repeat I have ever had in my playing career. Woop woop.

Thanks for the great comments after following the great advice finally about starting off big then reducing at the end it seams to have paid off. Not saying all future layouts are going to be of this quality that all depends of flyer/Image res. As for size obviously I'm limited to a laptop screen, so if anyone wants to do a bigger res dx I'm willing to give any artwork/images I have as some of the newer dxs i've done ie, Palm springs, rich geezer, suits u sir and this one.
As for nominating me for a creator badge i've already been that colour and look how that went pear shaped funnely enough it was about this time last year I'm happy as I am less hassle lol I've been green, blue silver and gold maybe a different colour hey!
Nah seriously thanks for all comments I aim to please most

Although I haven't played this version for real, it is basically Take Two, which was one of my favourite machines from my time working at Paddington Station.

It used to be in the buffet, which in it's day, was a posh one and not some BR buffet, so I used to get some snotty looks, although it could have been because I was in uniform lol.

Anyway, like with music for some, playing fruities on the emulator, brings back memories of old. This is one such machine that instantly transports me, straight back to the very late 80's/early 90's, the real start of my fruit machine addiction.

It's also though, from one of my favourite eras for fruit machines, all the Barcrests of this time, such as Nudge Quest, Double Up and Cash Connect.

If I close my eyes, I can see myself in the buffet playing it.
