Has dr who timelord got a decent layout or can it be converted?

May be missing something, but installed Amber, ran it all ok.
Found layouts but when i clicked on one, it loaded up but doesn't boot....
Looking at the layout details, it shows roms missing although all the roms are in the library files, zipped and unzipped.....

If you have placed them in the roms folder in their folders thats why it can't find the roms, you must just place the roms in the Amber roms folder.
I've attached a pic to show you what I mean.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
The problem looks like it is down to the fact that some roms are missing, either game or sound from the downloads.
Does anyone else have speed issues?? Tried loading Corrie and it took about 5 mins to get to the Alpha Display lighting up at boot up, then just sat there so i gave up on it.

Hopefully Guitar will be able to help and explain what needs to be done to get it running.
Also I can't get andy's great escape to boot not sure what the problem is.

Just put the .pac files in the layouts folder.
Stanmarsh was hosting files on http://homepage.ntlw..._marsh14/Amber/
But todays updates are probably not there yet.
So apart from easy money, spotted dick and frank n stein, you can use layouts from that link.
Anyone else need a login?
I need a login please Guitar.
I have downloaded version 51 and the zip fles from 19/12. Will see how I go offline.

How do I get Amber to recognise the layouts in the layouts folder - the pac files are there but when I go into Play Local Layouts the list is empty?

Mine finds the layouts but has issues finding the roms...
And the speed of booting is way slow..

A graphics card is preferred, but it doesn't have to be a great one.
It will use 2 cores at most, so dual core is better. CPU speed is the most important factor,
I will sort out some logins for you guys in a bit.
I have a couple of bugs to fix in the emu. Then I will release a new exe and some layouts.

Sometimes when using the shortcut keyboard keys the Emu seems to lose focus and the keys stop working. I have to click on the main window with the mouse to enable them again. It's something I've seen on other VB programs though.

An update tonight to fix a few emu bugs. I have done it as a full installer to keep things simple for people.
£ symbol now displays correctly on MPU4.
Meter Detection error has been fixed.
Hoppers tidied up on MPU4.
Added more 7 Segment displays to Scorpion 2 Tech.
4 New layouts will be appearing tonight on the Skydrive as they get quickly finished and tested.
Hot Rod
Red Hot Roll
Blackjack Club
Cops n Robbers Club
They should be playable online after a short while.
My upload speed is naff so give things a chance to get uploaded please. And I'm running round like mad atm. I will get everything setup and logins sorted.
Server is now up and ready.
