The impact (ahem!) of the picture you've posted will no doubt have made many FME enthusiasts hearts skip many beats.

 

What absolutely stunning news!

 

I check all the forums every evening and follow various threads with much interest - although this is my first post on here, I speak from experience.  This has been a long time in the making and I can only begin to imagine the sheer volume of gratitude felt towards you and your assistants for your passion, commitment and generosity to the scene.  That level of focus and dedication cannot have come without personal sacrifice, for which I thank you most sincerely.

 

Our beautiful FME flames were all but extinguished, kept alive by those few members who hold a real (ahem!) love of the technology and nostalgia of days gone by, contributing their time and money to gather resources and share them freely with their fellow FME enthusiasts - many thanks to them for their efforts and dedication.

 

Now, the phoenix is ready to rise from the FME embers - Guitar, I wish you every success and hope that Project Amber will soar to new heights and inspire a whole new generation of FME enthusiasts who will be able to share the same excitement and enjoyment as we have from the very first coin, thanks to you.

OK, I have just discovered a massive problem with the database code on the server, Testing will be put on hold until tomorrow (hopefully).

 

It'll be worth the wait, honest!

Ok having tested it with Ploggy, I think its worth giving it a test Saturday Night (Today).

 

Be aware that you need a reasonably good PC/Laptop to run it fast when online.

 

Testing will begin sometime between 7:00 and 7:30 and hopefully go on most of the night

 

Post in here or PM me if you would like to be a part of the Online testing tonight.

 

If you apply will receive a link in your PM's sometime today for an installer, test layouts, and also get a Logon Name/Password.

 

Be aware this is testing, there may be bugs to deal with or workaround. Please be patient.

This is completely incompatible with ALL PREVIOUS RELEASED LAYTOUTS!!!

 

Links to layouts for testers will be PM'd over the next few minutes along with login/password details.

 

If layout authors wish to upload layouts for standalone play, that is up to layout creators.
