i get diverted to your skydrive site i,ve downloaded the zipped up roms fine but can't download the pac files why i don,t know i tick them then click download it downloads but can,t open them

There is nothing to "open" Vectra, just put them in the Layouts folder.

couldn't the server have multiple hosts like rooms, where for instance I could host it & keep the whole server up from my pc?

Kind of like seeds on a torrent.

Just the ProjAmber.exe this time.

 

Simply overwrite the existing exe file in the project amber folder with the new one.

 

Again, you MUST update the exe BEFORE you go online please.

 

Improvements in this version...

 

Better locking of games to stop games getting locked out.

Better Checks before launching a layout.

Server now counts coins in/out from the coins as opposed to meters, so once you collect, your cash will have been collected by the server.

All techs now online compatible apart from MPU3, which needs a minor update to count coins properly.

 

 

My skydrive has updated layouts for

Spotted Dick

Frank n Stein

 

and a new layout for Easy Money

 

The server has no state files at the moment, machines will be re-added over the next few minutes.

Just put the .pac files in the layouts folder.

But todays updates are probably not there yet.

 

So apart from easy money, spotted dick and frank n stein, you can use layouts from that link.

i got kicked of saying i need a update but the auto update is broke

downloading complete folder now let ya know what happens also sometimes  when exiting amber freezes so have to restart computer

Same as before, simply overwrite the old exe with this new one.

 

This fixes an M1 online/offline bug. Thanks.

 

Coronation Street will be available from the skydrive, and online play enabled shortly thereafter.

When exiting the game you have to wait for the server to say its received the file before it will exit.

 

Please allow time, it will eventually exit. Also if you press Ctrl + Shift + Escape it will show you the task manager, just end the ProjAmber.exe process rather than restart the PC its much quicker.

 

It could take a minute or two if there is a lot of internet traffic, please be patient it should exit eventually.

Everyone got kicked, there was a server issue, should be ok again now.

Also Cops n Robbers Sys83 version, and Coronation Street are now on the skydrive too.

Downloaded all files ok now and over written old files Andy capp and cops n robbers ok but hbiyr still no reels that's all i've tried at moment why does the emu take so long to start up and load the games unlike mfme will this get quicker with updates
As for coronation street can someone zip it up for me so I don't have to download the entire lot again as at 100mbs a go its eating my allowance and takes 30mins at my internet speeds lol please also i'll give feedback to all these new layouts when they get their public release

Definitely. It has tonnes of potential. Especially the online stuff. Makes me wish I was developing this with him. Used to use vb a fair bit but am out of touch now. Was exciting to hear what he has planned.

RE my two host url's..... I will generaly only update the NTL one if there are urgent updates, otherwise use my Virgin Media one, as that has all the current released layout's / rom's to date (Which I am in the process of updating right now), due to the fact skydrive is pretty slow to use.

I'm sorting the main bulk upload to the Virgin Media link now.
