Well its nice that you have your own business, so I hope that £500,000 was just spare cash lying about a new house wouldnt go a miss with that amount.

I think to date I must have spent around £3000 and thats a ridiculous amount to have spent at 14-16 on fruities

Im so glad that I have nothing to do with them anymore, except the emulatable ones.

Yeah, I'm 19 and I've lost in the region of about £3000 > £5000 as well, I know that it is a large spread but thats the best I can do :)

i spent most of my money on the old black crack habit(vinyl) not in machines so i think maybe bout 1500 over 10 year period.

sinec i became an engineer at 19 i stopped playing them in arcades and just when i was at the pub spending my shrapnel.

I often walk around town past the local arcades and time after time I see the same group of chavs playing the same machines day in and day out, thinking they know how to play every machine..

I often wonder just how much money they spent daily.. I also wonder how they feel at the end of the day when they finally have no money left in their pockets except the odd copper lying in their pocket because the fruities wont except them..

I think (as I learnt from Gamblers Anon) people don't actually realise how much they're losing.

Say, you pop out like we used to on a friday or saturday night (maybe one night in the week) ya lose £20 or £30 (more than if you paid attention to how much you're spending) but lets for arguements sake say £20 ONCE a week (which we all know is probably more)

in one YEAR (52 WEEKS) that is a loss of £1040 on fruitys.

how many people have only been playing for ONE YEAR?

I've been playing on and off for 14 years now, so that multiplied (allowing for stopping gambling months [we've all had those lol] but then compensating with £250 JP machines , (who puts £20 in one of those) I'd say at least £10,000 WASTED!
