I've just bought an Extreme Gaming Can You Dig machine and when I power it up, sometimes it has an audio alarm that says "HEY KICK IT OUT" or something, it's very hard to understand. If I give the machine a little shake, sometimes it fixes it.

I've had a look about and I can't find out what this alarm is trying to tell me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

First of all, we need to know what message appears on the machine's Alpha display, as that will tell us a lot about the issue to hand.

Thank you very much for the speedy replies folks.

 

I've had a look and It doesn't seem to have any display inside that will give me a code, however I do have a few green LED lights.

One of which (the far right one) flashes Green 13 times and then flashes Red from the 14th onwards while the alarm sounds. The 7th Green Flash pauses briefly.

 

I'll try to see if there are any loose connections when I get home later, perhaps I missed something.

Welcome C0ld! As stated before, it is "Hey check it out," although yes, it does sound like "kick it out". I know this due to many barcrest machines I use on MFME. I didn't realize that extreme gaming used the same samples as Barcrest, same as Vivid. Can anyone help me with this? Many thanks. Thomas.

All mpu5 machines have "check it out".. It's not much the manufacturers.. But the mpu itself.
So barcrest, vivid, red gaming, etc used mpu5 in the past so have this noise on some of their older machines
I think extreme gaming (the machine in question,) uses mpu6 technology, not epoch, as they used to.

Thanks Nick Yer Pesos. I would've thought it was the MPU itself, but silly me I didn't! I suppose it's the same with all Scorp4 machines they all have that eary alarm like an out of tune piano? I know that Crazy Fruits, DOND and various others do. Talking of Epoch, this is the month I have been waiting for ...

Thanks for all your replies, sorry for the late reply. The blue Alpha screen stays completely inactive during this entire error process
