I am looking for a set roms for my vivid pie factory machine. I fear I wiped/corrupted my existing ones by changing them around when trying to fix a machine I bought (I have now diagnosed and fixed that problem!).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

I did have a set to hand but I've given all my ROMs over to someone else for dumping...
Someone here or over at the Mecca will certainly be able to burn a new set for you

What gives you the impression theyve been wiped?

Long and short is:
- bought machine without a program card
- a very helpful person on here supplied me with one
- I put it in and got an error code, which was subsequently diagnosed as flat mpu5 battery.
- in the meantime I foolishly moved roms around on the card to see if it would help
- error code stopped and now red error light just constantly flashes red
- bought a new mpu5 unit but still doesn't work and get flashing red light.
Think must have corrupted the roms by moving them around so was after new ones to see if they work!
Thanks

Right the only way id say you could wipe the roms was if you were playing with balloons or a van de graph generator to produce a shit load of static to wipe the roms!
Is it the HALT lamp flashing or the Status lamp?
I doubt that they have been wiped.
The error code would be good if you could remember it, MPU5 is a bulletproof tech that doesnt really have any battery related problems, or any problems for that matter.

If your getting halt led programme card is faulty pins not just the one facing into the socket to connect to the mpu5 but the side facing yourself on the programme card they do come loose just run solder on each, or the other common one is you have blown the proms putting them the wrong way round not just p1 into socket p4 as in back to front I`ve done it before when gassing away to someone, or the set you have are not 27c400X x= to 0 or 1 ermmm not matched pairs in speed 10ns (27c4001 f10)

He error code was 12 green 2 red if I remember correctly.
I did put the proms the wrong way round in a stupid novice trial and error type way !
