So funny.

Well done reflex for not adding a £100 value on the feature.

Fail.

Surely it'll force people to play for the unwinnable cashpot? :D

The jumps to big 40 to 100. 60quid gap. With reflex and there fake cashpots where even worst once they got updated.

It's always the case when rechips are issued, like when the £25 jackpot first came out, many machines had a £10>£25 jump (which works out to be the same ratio as £40 > £100). Once new machines come out I'm sure they will be better.

Then again, it won't matter any way since I'm sure most players are going to be playing for the JP anyway, so the secondary value doesn't mean anything.

The engineer at my local arcade tried to covert one of the classic Red Bar to £100 but came across an hardware issue, so the guy is currently in talks with the manufacture to try and resolve this issue.

Plus to be honest I wouldn't of thought such an old school machine would of been able to of had the upgrade.

It took longer to changed the glass. That Alice in wonderland (blue) needs an entire new glass top just to change one display from £70 to £100 on the top right.. That's it. An entire glass.. Lol

I can think of few things more pointless than being a hardcore £5 jackpot player. Or more dull come to that.

But it was never the jackpot levels that removed all the players - it was the lack of gameplay.

Same old, same old but "ooh bigger jackpot" isn't going to improve anything for the operators.

And what on earth is the point on going to a club for a dull as dirt £400 jackpot when there's £500 jackpot machines which at least give half a chance to the casual player...

This is true Ben the jump tho 10 to 15 or 10 to 25 most people didn't mine that gamble. Ok you lost a tenner if you didn't win. But a jump from 40 to 100 fook that even on 2 or an 11 unless I`ve got an extra life or a no lose gamble collect button is being pressed that old catch can go far back as £4/4.80tokens add a note from jpm prime example 11 go lo ahh dam it. fooking 12

I can see where your coming from Magz but tbh reflex done a £2000 jp for clubs. But most of the didn't want them. also there was some T+C to which they was pulled. Sod playing them £400 jp also. As for the £500's ermmm I would get shot seen playing them well astra stuff I`m ok to play.

Aww Nick it happens mate over the test of time. I`ve seen it and had to do it remove the coin entry bezel take lamp mask's off etc and I fully well know a lot of the boys and girls have had to do on here. I`m sure you will seen it as second to none in the end 45 to an hour max your be doing them. Do a few smashed glasses and rebuild them what your doing is nice. There should be plenty of O/T at the moment so a few extra in your sky rocket is as it is a small bonus. Don`t forget to take a few pics of the decals. Good on ya fella

I think I will stick with me 2p or 10p pushers and the odd tic-tak unit in the gents of the pub (prize every time on that)

So you're on a reflex. You get a GATW. Cash pot is £59. You play deal. What happens?

Dam it, that's probably an empty. Oh well.

Out of interest, who pays for the new glass - operator or Reflex? These machines aren't old, they must have known they'd need to future-proof them.

I really dot know what to make of the new 100 jackpot. ive played DOND when its showing from the off and still put £80 in to win the £70.

£100 however is a nice value to make me migrate from a b3 on certain games.

The operator has to pay for the kits that are made, As its down to the operator if that want to upgrade. Not the company making the unit.

A nice way to charge a few hundred extra for a re-glass that could easily be avoided with a little forward planning. Sums up what I've always thought of that company.

Charging for decals and new chips etc. is fair game, but surely not a re-glass for a fairly new machine.

fairly new or not if the glass was fix at £70 with only one or two decals to be changed they will charge for a kit which would be glass decals and software and pop key.

Every company dose it for fixed jp glass so converting a Take it or leave it would be a complete top glass. Decals and software and pop kit. That's if my company is willing to make such a kit.

Deal or No Deal Powerplay incorporates a brand new proximity sensor in the glass which responds to movement of the player’s hand,
