The emu is ready to ship. Am just preparing the server with all the state files and it will go live.

 

A full installer will be linked to later today. The emu is now a 70MB download thanks to the new file systems and texture packs so I will upload somewhere else and link it.

 

Layouts will be made available at the same time. All .pac files are now redundant and you will need to download the new versions to be able to play them with the new emulator.

 

For layout designers who have WIP or unreleased layouts, a one click layout converter will be provided to update a .pac to a .pad file.

 

Wherever possible you are encouraged to download the latest layouts to ensure online compatibility.

 

Mini games for free plays will be awarded every quarter hour, or at random during play.

 

Will post more info on release. Should be up and running by 1pm.

Ok well, the states are nearly ready. I need to remake the shortcut key guide.

 

After that I will begin uploading. Shouldn't be too long, but my upload speed is not great.

Its not the 100% finished article as a few more tools await enabling, along with the Arcade Management and Statistics menu's.

 

So what's New?

 

Memory Management is much improved, less leaks, and more stable usage.

Mini Games every 15 minutes to win free plays (must be at least 2 active players on the server)

Mini Games Include, Bingo, Raffle, Lucky Spin, Jackpot Spin.

.bmp, .psd, .png files can now be imported directly to the emulator.

Quick change tools for updating several lamps/reels/segs at once.

Greatly improved alpha channel handling for nicer lamp/seg/alpha display blending.

Menu's have been fully overhauled to look much nicer, along with a new Logo.

Faster loading speeds for layouts and game scanning.

Bounce Speed option added.

M1 Hopper Support.

Improved the state saves for online mode, should get less machine errors.

Various other bugs found along the way have been fixed.

 

Some more layouts are on the way too.
