do i need to download a new project amber and are there instuctions with how to set it up to put the games on and work it plz

I would wait until the New full updates available sometime soon once you have it follow the on screen instructions to install it, I'll try and write an update guide sometime. As for the games themselves when you've downloaded say Monte Carlo for instance, open the Amber file up and within it you'll find sub folders click on the libraries one and within that you'll see graphics, layouts, and roms. Put the pad.file in the layouts file and everything else (roms) in the Rom file do this everytime you download a AMBER layout and then restart Amber.

To guitar when a layouts in play on the online mode is it possible you could change the colour say to red of the listing so we don't have to load up the game to find its already in play

Project Amber 1.0904.

 

Lots of updates in this one. A full installer has been provided

 

Reel Editor has been given a bit of a makeover to simplify it and make it look nicer.

 

An MFME Lamp Importer Tool has been added. Docs to follow in a bit.

 

The Layout Wizard has been simplified a little and sets up a lot more default settings.

 

Lamps, Alpha Display, Reels, 7 Segs now draw in front of backgrounds if outside of the machine area.

 

Online Games in use now go red/darker so you can see available machines more easily.

 

Server Interaction has been cleaned up a little.

 

Component Pack now contains default reels, and has had the format changed a little.

 

Various little bugs discovered along the way have been fixed.

 

A new folder has been added called Import, this is to do with the MFME Lamp Importer and will be explained in some docs later.

 

Scorpion 2 saved state has been updated, Server is back up but Scorp 2 machines are offline while I update the saved states on the server, should be back to normal in half an hour.

 

A conversion of Dr Who will be released shortly too.

 

The next update will concentrate on getting the server interlocking sorted to get rid of the last of the bugs, and improve a few features.

 

I will award the challenge mode prizes at 6pm tomorrow, new challenges will be uploaded soon after.

 

After that, work on the arcade management will begin.

Hello, ive got an error simply with the installer, just downloaded it, unzipped, double clicked on the only file 'ProjAmber' and I get 'Run-time error 438, object doesnt support this property or method'.

 

Ran as an Admin and in compatibility mode, no differnce.

Install using the installer provided.

 

Then you can navigate to wherever you installed it.

 

From there ROMs go in the Libraries > ROMs folder. You should extract them from any zip or rar files if applicable.
