Interesting. I'd imagine only AGCs can site them as they are still Cat C?

A Pub licence allows siting of 2 Cat C machines. So pub's could have them in, not sure If they'll need to pay any permit things to the council.

5% MGD could well entice a new market.

Good news for Mr P, he could set his MPU4 machines to 20p £10 JP and pay less tax.

If he changes the IMPACT games to 20p, £10 I'll move in.

I thought I read it somewhere about these jp stake levels can only be a good thing for seaside arcade industry. If they bring out playable fruits het rid of the bearded Twat will be like the old days decent jp little to stake

This won't be the case though with the shoddy coding they make the games with,it will probs still be like feeding a £70 machine.

I think the arcade sector has been begging for this size jackpot/stake to come back for a long time.

lets see what happens

It is a good excuse for seaside arcades to put some older 20p/ £6 £8 £10 classics in again.

Would the new Cat C stakes / prizes review apply to 'legacy' Category C though? I can never get my head around all this red tape b**locks :)

Double checked this with Chuzzy the other day to be sure, but CAT D is still £5 cash / 10p, though technicaly you can go up to £8 with tokens.

Cat C is £100JP / £1, B4 (Clubbers) is £400JP / £2, B3 500JP / £2, B2 (Think this is more for FOBT's though I could be wrong) £500JP / £100 play.

http://www.gamblingc...categories.aspx

Reason why some of the machines there are £8 / £10 JP, is because they was made at roughaly the same time the tri-anual review for the catergory limits was under review, and the big buzz was, most thought CAT D would go £10JP / 20p, which to us certanaly ment that older types of machines from around the late 80's / Late 90's, could effectivaly meet the CAT D requirment, but unfortunaly the GC stuck to their guns :(

Oh, whilst I have not had this confirmed to me yet, the older clubbers (B4's) at £50 / £75 / £100 JP with a price of play less than £1, technicaly could meet the new CAT C rules.
