Taytay, let me give you a clue. The playing method on some DONDs is as unintuitive as the Doctors & Nurses (and clones) trick - Orange1 Bell4 - from years ago. If you dont know it, then as a casual player you are at a huge disadvantage. Boycott the slots in your pub for a week, then the tricksters will leave empty-handed leaving more payouts for you and your mates. Thats all i can suggest. Or get a digital refill key, ascertain when the slots are refilled and calculate whether its ahead/behind % depending on the %. Or keep in with the barman buying him the occasional drink (friendly pub) or keep in with selected lovals (unfriendly pub) for the state of play. But knowing the methods is the key, simple as that. Without them, and an 'all out for the JP' mentality, you're toast. Put your cash towards a top luxury holiday instead and stare at palm trees for a couple of weeks rather than your drab local

This is why I gave up the fruities many years ago. Too much to know, was always at a major disadvantage because I didn't know any of the tricks that are really needed nowadays to do well off of them. And unless your in one of the circles you never get to find out. I found them very dangerous to play towards the end of my gambling days

Just had our first machine converted in our local arcade, It's a Bar X 7 (electrocoin) X's £10, Bar's £30, 7's £100 set at £1 stake. Should be interesting to see if anyone plays it, i myself tried a quick fiver but nether got anything so i walked away.

Quick fiver all of one minute lol I bet this will eat twenties like you munching crisps, these machines were always tight even at £25 on the otherhand will this do the three times hold on 7's for a 300
The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.

More like 15secs lol, but yeah you make a good point could it still it's triple roll in that it usually does?
Plus do you reckon they would of had to of used a chuzzy kit to of been able to pull this off? If this is the case i guess it would be a case of it will flash up with a particular win which it wants you to nudge in, rather than it's usual roll-in.

They do a flash nudge version. But don't know on £100
also £100 cant repeat more than once so in theory it cant hold twice for £300 it would have to spin a credit then jp again.
be wary for £200-£250 with no win!

You're right strakseims; these new Bar X 7 do flash nudge on £100. Just had a few installed in the seafront arcades where I live (Clacton). A friend of mine works in one of the arcades and he hasn't seen a £300 (i,e, 3 in a row) yet, only £100 hold once.
As an aside, apart from Blackpool, I think Clacton has more tricksters than anywhere in the UK!!

These can go huge when you hit the cycle, had a £70 version pay £680 and only had the 7's 4 separate times, they hold on bars and you get a win every £10 and under when there streaking, you know wen it's dead it will go about £30 with no win.

had a look in the arcade near me and they have a bar 7s 100pounder and its got like a deal or no deal feature looks crap but was great fun as it rolled in a nice 50 pound jackpot on 50p stake and repeated twice didnt think they would do a different style of a bar 7s on 100jp has any one seen one of these next time im in il take a pic of it n post it if i can

Taytay, hands up, sorry, I misread your post, I thought you'd got a repeat via the conventional JP route jackpot (i.e. Bells). Obviously it can repeat via the DOND board!
And I only know a couple of tricks that is true; my trickster mate (who is extremely well connected - in fact he was the first to realize the potential of the true-skill Dial a Win DOND feature a few years back. Was re-chipped in a hurry that one, but not before he cleaned up and sold it on for £££) only throws me the occasional tidbit (usually when the DONDs are about to be replaced). So I'm always a little bit behind the times. (Although there are a few Wetherspoons/Smaller Pubs I can use but I have to time my trips carefully, no point in going once the tricksters have emptied 'em!)
I don't know the cashpot trap; wish I did !!!
