Hi guys, just picked up a vivid pie factory off a mate with no manual. It had a few blown bulbs in the buttons but when I looked at the "vivid" button it had no bulb connecter or any connecters coming from it just 3 plugs hanging in the breeDr. My question is, what does the vivid button do? And is it worth replacing?

Cheers in advance guys!

Is it just replaced by a transfer button if there is a notey connected? Just a guess. I'm sure a few machines of this era in the arcades had buttons that did nothing. I always assumed it was because of this.

Hi Holmes

The Vivid button is used to slow any skill feature offered i.e skillstop which is offered on the bonus so quite an important button in terms of gameplay.

Cheers guys I think I'll order a bulb holder with the connections to get this button working! Another quickie, the prize decals are not aligned correctly. Anyway of moving this easily? I have already tried pulling them with the tag but they won't budge!

Are the decals taped at the opposite end to the pull tab?

Also post a pic of the bulb holder you need as I might have one.

also the decals (especially in older machines) tend to stick to the insode of the glass.
remove/reposition with care

3 images of the bulb holder. Moved the decals bloody double sided tape! Removed this now all in the right place! Just something that was bugging me!

Tried the bfm ones but they are slightly different. When I connected them up the light didn't flash and when I pressed the button it span the reel as if I pressed the start. Tried another way and overtime I press hold the light flashes but nothing else. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong but tried every combination on the connectors. I may need to order the barcrest/vivid buttons!

Some are bayonet some are clips, microswitch.

Some break easy as well so may need full button.

Should be 4 wires
