Meter Error. You'll need to set up the meters to make it boot.

It should work fine once the meters are set up.
In general rebuild companies machines are the easiest to get running as they often don't do the hardware tests that the main manufacturers build into their code.

Well technically this is a coinworld rebuild anyway. I'm very tempted to emulate the BGT (Unidesa) tech at some point, I've collected the docs together. But there's only about 5 uk based games.

The BGT games are great games. Yes, they didn't release many UK machines and not sure what resources we have. I always remember a particular machine called Random Replay, was a £15 repeat chance jackpot with a ball bearing that randomly chose repeat or spin. I only ever played it once and I actually got the jackpot and it repeated to £75. Only ever saw one of these ever.

Here's a flier with most, if not all the BGT machines.

There is no Ding Dong Bell on that, it has the clone of it on there though.

They used to have a load of them at the local Gala bingo hall quite a few years ago now, when I used to go - they were very popular because everyone thought that the ball-bearing repeat was random, and to be honest, so did I - funny what you learn in the FME world!
If only I knew then what I know now - I'd either be very rich, or int' nick!

I've not played the machine in question. How was the ball bearing not random? Are we talking magnets or just aiming the ball?

BGT Ding Dong Bell was definitely not a prototype release, I've seen way too many in the wild. They were everywhere back in the day.
The DX released was a rebuild on the mpu4 tech that came out at a later date.
