Hi guys, wondered if anyone can help remember the name of some fruit machines from my youth:-
1)2p play from the 80's. Main feature was a castle, climbing to the end of trail but when it was ready to pay you got "steps" or something from 1-6 which gave you the option of skipping ahead around the board. I want to say it was called something like Quickstrike but that has no relevance to the style and look of the machine. The steps randomly appeared whilst on the trail.
2)I know there were a few clones, one was called something like Lucky Lady and 2 p a go although 10p play versions existed. Had a feature which I believe consisted of playing cards as nudges/swap it numbers, but that may have been a clone. As mentioned there was a swap it feature, but I am sure it was not a win-a-gain style machine from Barcrest, totally different feel. I am sure the main machine showed a Queen on a playing card.
3)Vague description from same era, main top of machine was a deck of cards and the main way of winning jackpot was going high to low but if it was a 2 you would go lower and it would win hitting a 1! And same with Queen would go higher to a King.
4)Want to say this was called something with word "banker" in title. When you got nudges in feature you could nudge multiple reels a once but it was on a time limit so would really screw you over! Also the gamble feature was double or nothing.
5)Another which almost looked like a change machine as the whole machine was a gamble board, both sides gave a different risk/gain, 10p versions existed. Left side was low risk and low gain, right side gamble high risk and higher gain.
Once again, sorry the description are vague. These were all in hemsby around the 80's and almost certain none are emulated.
Also does anyone know a source of photos for old arcades from the 80's? I have googled and very little can be found.
