I have downloaded PA, when I click on LOAD to load a game it does nothing, I was presented with a login screen, I just pressed apply etc and it went passed that, what am I doing wrong?

Alas i don't have amber on my p.c, but i did on my last one before it went tits up.

 

and i used those settings , so try that to see if it works.

you need to tick offline mode as the server hasnt been up for over a year
.

My advice is forget Amber 1, Amber 2 will support all those techs, plus more soon enough.

Hi..i am a new user here. I have a question that have you downloaded the pad.file for the layout available on guitars skydrive link Bruce as the old pac.file no longer works and the Amber layouts pre Jan2014 are no longer compatible with Amber they should be either updated or deleted to avoid confusion.

sorry to ask, what did you do with this project?  i do remember what happened etc. but that was a while back, did you at least finish it for yourself ?

The first Project Amber was discontinued. Project Amber 2 did come out with Epoch support, but I can't remember what format Guitar used. Hopefully Guitar has continued with this as I did like the features he did especially the online gaming.

I simply wish he would keep his promises and not continually let people down.

 

It was meant to be a quick job to do this, he had everything he needed.

 

If people have no intention of following through after making a promise to another scene member - you know - it's easier not to do this.  Even if something important in real life had got in the way, a simple message would have been all it takes.  We'll have tales of woe and whatever tho I expect when he returns.
