Looks like you're on there a while till someone joins youe could be a loooong wait, ip address will prob change before then lol.

The raffle isn't limited. If you get a bronze coin it doesn't add to the pot, only gives you an extra ticket, but it will display the pot value.

 

The number of tickets is limited to 50 as that's about all I could fit on the screen.

just to let you know I been trying to do vecs supertwos for him and when I click on a lamp it errors and crashes the emu

 

and the offline is dead

I've been doing some work on a layout and the reels were looking very good but after I updated amber the reels are pixelated and look dodgy.  Is there a problem with the reels in the latest version?

Server is down again, I'm working on some updates to fix a list of small bugs in various techs, when that gets released the server should be accessible again.

Just to keep you all informed, there will be no releases of Amber for a few weeks up to a couple of months.

 

I've hit a snag with the Proconn emulation which has forced my hand in changing the way things work.

 

The process of making it right is going to break the techs for long periods of time so I wont be in a position to compile a working version once I start the process.

 

So I've decided to bite the bullet and do it. I don't have a set release date, its done when its ready.

There will be a whole host of upgrades happening at the same time...

 

The emulator will be custom skin-able, so anyone who wants to take the time will be able to create a new gfx pack for the emulator.

 

There will be 2 new Mini Games added, A "Grab It" or "Sod Off" game, and an online style video slot.

 

The server will be completely rewritten, no longer using DirectPlay as the communication method as this causes a lot of slowdown.

As part of the rewrite, I will finally get round to adding the voting system, custom arcades per player, and other extra features.

 

Proconn will be added, and if time permits so will spACE.

 

All the cores will be converted to C++ and built as custom dll's. This will make the emulator run faster by a massive amount, and will include numerous upgrades and fixes that have been requested by various layout authors.

 

When the time finally comes for release it will be released as Project Amber 1.1000.

 

I will endeavour to release the emulator to Layout Authors a week early in order to allow some nice new layouts to be ready with it.

 

There will be some minor changes to the editor but the tools should remain largely unchanged.

 

The next release should be quite an event.

Good luck with your endeavours, mate.  I know it will be worthwhile for everyone, when it's done. :)

 

Do you want me to send you a list of emulator fixes that are needed before you fully get into it?  You know most of them I think, but I think it would be best sending you the information before you get head-deep into it.  Or can you add them at the end?

 

I'll PM you later on Thursday with what I know.
