Inspired by Fuzion's comments about waiting for Amber to support Proconn, I took another look at getting a z80 cpu running.
And it appears to be have been mildly successful. Its early stages, but I can see stuff happening in the debugger that makes sense.
I was hoping to keep it quiet as a surprise but I figure its best to get it out in the open and appeal for resources. Anything and everything Proconn related will be gratefully received.
If things go as well as I hope the next release of Amber should see Proconn in its initial stages, and a fair few fixes for MPU3, MPU4 and M1.
The C++ conversions are coming along steadily too. The hope is that by Christmas this year, Amber will support the following techs, all in C++ dll's, ready to write the Project Amber 2 fully 3D front end.
MPU3, MPU4, System 83, System 85, Scorpion 1, Scorpion 2, M1, Castle Rev 1E, Castle Rev 2A (subject to reosurces), spACE, SRu, Proconn, Universal.
