Lucky  I bought a GTX 760 yesterday. 

 

Good stuff.

 

I do hope the integration of both emulators does happen.  I know Guitar is keen to do the older techs and KC is keen to do the newer ones.  So in a year or two, we really could have the emulator we always wished for.  Only without all the arguments, grief, backstabbing, blackmail etc etc.

Don't agree. Sorry Daryl, but there really is no need for any of what NQ mentioned. There may well have been in the past, because the behaviour of the coder basically sent ripples through the entire scene.

 

Now that he's been f***ed off things do not need to be that way at all. Every one has the same now. The only way a member can have something that no one else has now is to create it himself.

 

You'll see this when the next version of Amber releases. IE - a coder embracing people who want to better his emulator and not crying because his nose is out of joint.

Funny because for the last four years I've been completely dormant, yet, you seem to think I had a part in the demise of FME. What I don't get is your supposed demise, because from where I'm sitting nothing is dead. We've had two emulator coders f*** off (three if you count Reanimator, and that was Chris's fault*) and none of them f***ed off because of me.

 

Chris f***ed off because he was called out on some code. Once he released the source anything else he did had to remain 100% to himself or he would have to release the source for it (not gonna happen) which had nothing whatsoever to do with me.

 

Tony f***ed off because, well who knows? the last time I spoke to him he was coding an emulator he could not release because of his job and that was the last I heard of him. Apparently he no longer works there but for whatever reason hasn't come back. That had nothing to do with me either.

 

Guitar has been (intermittently) been here all along and AFAIK hasn't buggered off.

 

The scene has more now than it's ever had. So I fail to understand why you think FME died. Maybe because people got genuinely bored of it and have moved on to other things? again, that's not my problem.

 

As Guitar pointed out numerous times, those who seem to think they do everything were doing nothing. That's not my fault either. I've only ever pissed off those who did practically nothing any way. Making one layout and then getting the title layout designer and then sitting around talking shit does not mean you are important.

 

None of it happened because of me. None of it. I may have pissed a few people off but they didn't do much any way.

 

*Reanimator asked Chris not to release MFME with S2 in it. Chris did it any way, because Chris is, was, and will always be a complete f*****g dick. He held the scene to ransom continually popping back to dangle carrots then waited for the most minute ripple of the butterfly's wings before f*****g every one over again. DO NOT. I repeat, DO NOT try and blame me for that. I had nothing to do with either. He even f***ed over Tony by releasing Impact which again had nothing to do with me. That's why Tony joined forces with him because otherwise Chris would have left him with nothing.

 

I said on the day that Tony joined him that things would f*****g die from that moment on because Chris called all the shots. I was 100% dead right too. Making Tony do all the slave work yet not letting him release anything.

 

So f*** him, and the boat he sailed in on. You want FME to be dead? cool, do nothing, just like every one else has (barring the few remaining people who bother, which isn't many) but FME is not dead and never was.

Seriously, who the hell are you to call Wizard, when you've presumably been freely using his emulators for the last 12 years? Pathetic.

Here, here Mr C. As far as I'm concerned it's in the past. Who gives a shit if Adam was to blame for this Tom for that, derrick did this that and the other lol. What's done is done can't be rewritten, what we've got to look forward to is two brand new emulators, probably wizzy is already playing on the tech's being emulated, but it's great these two maybe more coder's still have the passion for Fme, which in my eyes is far from extinct, it was just having a rest. We still have some great layout creators out there, hopefully more will come back once Ambeppy is joined as one.

9.4 had nothing to do with me, silly. I didn't even have it until Gary gave it to me. It's you who has the version of events wrong.

 

When Gary leaked 9.4 (and 10.1a) he was the only one (well apart from Chris's mates) who had it. I was using 1.6cs which was miles behind anything Gary had gotten from Tony When Tony lived with him for a while.

 

Your problem Chris was always your second hand series of events that reached you via Dad's website. I don't care what you think went down. I, Tony, Chris W and every one else knows full well what happened and it had absolutely nothing to do with me. In fact, I still have the emails. A good few. The  most important ones being me trying to explain to Gary that the S4 emulator he was going to recompile and release (before he decided to just leak MFME, and probably why he leaked MFME because he wouldn't get away with it) had errors in it that were identical to the ones in MFME (an alpha bug for starters).

 

The only leak I ever made was 1.6 Kung Fu edition of JPEMU. I still have a whole world of stuff here (early alphas of Epee for example) that are still here and won't be going anywhere.

 

So as I said, you have it wrong. And the more you hold on to your series of events (the 'blame it all on Tutton' ones) the longer this shit gets drawn out.

 

It doesn't matter Chris. Any one with a pair of eyes can see what CW did (three times he promised to come back then f***ed off over the slightest thing and f***ed every one over) it doesn't take me to f*****g point it out. What he did was nothing short of disgusting. Got every one all excited running around getting resources then f***ed them over.

 

With or without me? that's what he had been doing for six years. He should have f***ed off and stayed f***ed off.

 

If you want to blame that on me? go ahead I really don't give a shit. As for Amber? anything I've ever done for Amber has been good. The segs the alphas.. Heck, now the entire graphical interface (news on that soon) were designed by me.

No one as such dobbed CW to MAME, they were aware of MFME and how much of it was MAME for a very very long time, years and years before it hit us publicly.  People in FME land were working on MESS, MAME and XYZ.  The time came for MAME to have a crack (rightly or wrongly) at FME and they wanted paying for what was rightly theirs.  End of the day Chris broke the licence and tbh got off really lightly with what he 'paid' back.

Chris and only Chris stopped the public development of MFME.  It was always his choice and his alone, yeah people pissed him off with leaks and whatever but he could have chose to rise above it and not let the very small few affect his 'giving' to the many 100s who were innocent, yourself included.  He seemed to enjoy the 'carrot dangle - then I'll f*** off again' game.

I'm not here to argue either....... I've had a lot to deal with the last three years and no time for FME but things have mellowed now and I haz a so when I was told I got a mention in a thread I popped back to have a nosey.  I then started to think where is all my old shit, I looked, I found it and then thought about sorting it all out, I have 100s of unreleased roms (useful?  who knows) so I thought I'd sort them out and see how it goes.  I noticed some arguments and read.  It did seem like we had gone back to 2005 or something lol.

 

How long I stay back out of under my rock I do not know.  I have loads more reasons not to be here as before I had loads of reasons to be here.  I not looking to fight but I do not like any one posting stuff that is not really true or shall I say people saying Chris is this, for example (you were correct) or Chris is not that (Letemspin was wrong IMO) so I'll try to post more 'politely' than years gone by. The DT situ like most 'stuff' mentioned is all water under the bridge.  Nothing can be done to change it, it is done and stays done.

 

I must say though your posts do tend to have a very familiar style/content to them shall I say.  Anyway happy DXing or Ambering or whatever you are doing...... let's see if anything good does come out.

I've never used your DATs (I'm way too chaotic for that) but the place is a better place with you around. I do appreciate the work you put into them, hence my thanks.

 

Chris won't show his face again. Part of the agreement was that he would basically release his source up to date. Anything after that? well let's put it this way, if a later version of MFME was to be leaked or released now he would have no choice but to release the source code for it. And we both know how tight he is so I would say with 100% certainty that he's gone for good.

 

Gonna stick in his gut a bit when he sees how well the sound for the older techs works in later operating systems (win 7 and win 8 for example). That was something he claimed that he pretty much couldn't fix, yet, Guitar has sorted it out in mere hours.

 

I really don't want to see Chris around again. I just think that his cloak and dagger style and the way he used people to play off against each other was shitty.

 

He always said he wasn't interested in the scene.. Well he should have just buggered off then instead of just turning up every so often to upset people.

 

I really, really don't like him. I am living about oo, ten minutes? from MDS now. I went to meet him and we had a really nice day. I asked him to get Chris down to have a play on the machines and as soon as he spoke to Chris he just said that Chris did not want to meet me (f*** him then, no loss to me) but then MDS ignored me there after.

 

And I f*****g know Chris was doing what he does best and sticking in the knife.

im very happy with the FME scene and even more happy that some old names have come back to help once more. i accept that debaits happen, and will continue - but could we burry the hatchet on this one?
