Can you give me a list of errors, mate? I can get an old copy of MAME and see what is written on the alpha display to confirm if they're named incorrectly. You can get past the security/pay unit errors on MAME to check.
Sorry mate I can't..... I was too much in the zone, (broke my keyboard lol) I'll be upping a new dat soon, all that is left is about 900 sets, I have the names for them.

Not to worry, mate. Couldn't find the right MAME to check anyway.

Some more I could do with help naming, these all run in MFME, as I scooped them from my 'ready to play' set..... any help would be great.

The 'bb7snd' rom is for Big Bar 7 (Concept)
The '939p20pn.047' rom is for a machine called Hi Climber (Project). Not 100% certain on that though.
All the roms that begin with 'cm3' are for The Crystal Maze Team Challenge (Barcrest).
The rom '95004143' is for Three Lions (Mazooma).
The roms '95008429', '95412094' and '95412095' are for Jumping Jack Cash (QPS).
The rom '95008863' is for Monopoly TTT (Mazooma).
The roms with 'crundeluxe', in their name, are for a machine called Copper Run Deluxe (JPM).
The roms with 'ddbsound', in their name, are for a machine called Ding Dong Bells (Coinworld).
The rom 'pa03p18a' is for Play It Again (ACE).
The rom 'vid.p1' is for The Crystal Maze SWP (Barcrest)
The roms named 'crisscrosssound', and 'sd1-270' I'm not too sure about. I would need to look at those more closely to find out. Post them here when you get a chance.

Downloaded killcrazy's stash which we had a lot of and started to grab from the Mecca. Rebuilt loads from the DAT so that is less to sort however some rebuilt to 'unknown' so once I get them in I'm afraid I'm going to need help with the unknown thanks.
Had a day off yesterday due to family funeral but might get more done today and definitely some on Monday.

Really desperate for help guys. Downloaded some from the Mecca. I really do not want the zzz_unk bit of the dat getting too big....
Mmmm IDEA! Should I do a separate dat for unknowns and merge them in when they are identified?

I'd leave the dat as it is, mate. All together as one!
How many of the roms at the Mecca have you grabbed? Did you go through all eleven pages and get the ones that were missing? When you've got the lot, post a full list with all remaining unknowns in the rom-dat, and we'll start narrowing down the list.

Only managed the first couple of pages... Pete says I have been given 'access' to grab as much as I want but it's not working yet.
The pics above are from one or two of the Mecca downloads.

The ones starting with 'ndu' are for Nudge Double Up (JPM).
The ones starting with 'shilo' are for Super Hi Lo (JPM).
The ones starting with 'sndudl' are for Super Nudge Double Up Deluxe (JPM).
The ones starting with 'lan' are for Lite A Nudge (JPM).
The ones starting with 'slan' are for Super Lite A Nudge (JPM).
The ones starting with 'dud' are for Double Up Deluxe (JPM).
The ones starting with 'topslot' are for Top Slot (PCP).
The ones starting with 'topup' are for Top Up (JPM).
The ones starting with 'ewn' are for Eachway Nudger (JPM).
The ones starting with 'hilo' are for Hi Lo Silver (BFM).
All the above are educated guesses, so can't be confirmed 100% until I see the ROMs. Pretty sure they're right though.
EDITED TO ADD ROMS FROM THE MECCA: Here are the first seven zips from page three in the rom download section at the Mecca. Like you, I can't get anymore for today as they have a leech protection thing in place; which is fair enough.

Many thanks, I thought 'dud' were in fact dud dumps ie bad dumps as one says dud or dtop lol.
I'm releasing a dat now but the above are not in. I just do not want to have 10s of megs to upload for fills at RC etc.... that is a pain lol. So I thought small chunks easier and easier if mistakes are found.

The ones with 'dtop' are for Double Top (JPM)...most likely. All SRU ROMs are only 1kb, each, in size, so they shouldn't be bad dumps.

Thanks to PW for access to the roms without restriction, done a quick rebuild..... this is ALL from the Mecca that is un-named.
Will be AFK till about 6pm, so if any one posts any help I'll add them in then..... then after these short few we should be 100%

No doubt pete_w classics exist for these.
That's a given, with DX'es by Harvey.
