Thanks to PW for access to the roms without restriction, done a quick rebuild..... this is ALL from the Mecca that is un-named.

 

Will be AFK till about 6pm, so if any one posts any help I'll add them in then..... then after these short few we should be 100%

I think I might have a few bits that haven't been added yet.  There are few re-dumps of existing roms, and one or two new ones.

If I do not know any they can have the 'zzz_unk' treatment then we can work in getting them named.... I know some of the Mecca ones rebuilt to some of our zzz_unk ones but CMPro does not make a log of what it has rebuilt in a txt file so I can't tell...

EDITED TO ADD FIX-DAT.  Just need two Eachway Nudger ROMs to be complete.

 

P.S.  It looks like I made a slight error on one of the sets of ROMs I identified.  The two roms named 'hilo_1.bin', and 'hilo_2p_1_hn462716g.bin' that were added to the BFM set 'Hi Lo Silver (Bellfruit) [Rom]' are not BFM.  They're too small to be BFM.  They're most likely MPU2, or SRU ROMs.

 

Sorry about that.  I honestly thought they were the BFM ROMs for Hi Lo Silver.   They will have to go with the other unknowns I think.

Cheers for these, are you guys using just a text editor or hex editor to identify these?

I identified the Casino Crazy ROMs with a sound tool.  It picked up the sound ROMs as Epoch, so once I knew that I knew they were for the Global version. 

 

These are the ways I identify the ROMs:

 

By the name and matching them up to existing artwork.

By the size of the ROMs.

Loading them into one of the emulators and seeing what's what.

Using a hex editor to look for names.

I  prefer to use an emulator first, then if i have no luck, i will use mr hex editor.

The 'lux' ROMs will be Luxor, and the 'gbond' ROMs will be Games Bond most likely.  Just going by the names.

Bronze Voyage is a strange one.  It isn't Barcrest, or BWB.  It's a 3rd party manufacturer that I'm not aware of.  Got a small picture of it, but you can't make out the manufacturer from it.

 

Found a couple of typos in the rom names, mate.  You can see where the typos are below.

 

Fircecracker (Project) [Rom]

Poontoon Club (Global) [c] [Rom]

 

P.S.  I'll have a look at that 'chin20c' rom now.  Looks like it uses an alpha, so it should be easy to identify if it loads on one of the emulators.

There is a llayout for " bronze voyage (bwb) possibly the same one?

  as for chin20c that is chase invaders ( not too sure if it's barcrest  or bwb though).
