Whats you worst bonus from experience (not including holds on respin, cancel on random, etc)

its hard to say it really depends on the machine your playing mostly i would say boost apart from on powerspins and hot shot (i think) as they always get you on the board and add again can be good on machines where you only need to get 8 to get on the board wheras most barcrests these days need a total of 9 and the multiple add agains are bollocks

Surprisingly enough, boost is worst.

On machines where you have a 4 on a single reel, on a 1>7 trail [where 4 is bonus], Respins are good [surely we all know to hold numbers for a respin?]

For me, it was Stoppa on Fruit Explosion. It would only ever stop on 6 or 7.

Hmm... modern machines are so dodgy, after a little more thought, it depends on the situation.

Some times I would rather have something pseudo skill [say a Stoppa which you can't use Cancel on], as human error is taken out of the equation

Generally though, I'd say my worst is Boost

I think stoppa was worst on 5p play £5jp, however on machines like acracadra (£25), stoppa more often than not puts you on. boost gets my vote too

I agree on most machines, hitting boost makes my heart sink.

Also, as other people say, why do you get add again on the bonus (4) when the trial begins at 9 and no repeat? :-(

I agree with the 'depends on which machine' comment.

a machine where 9 is the feature ADD AGAIN is useless (same as double up)

On machines where you get... choose a trail and it only flickers between 3 and 7 on an 8 machine.

Respin on Bonus when you used a 2 to get there (obviously hold the ones without numbers but how many times has that illusive number popped in?)

Worst one I recall is some kind of football based one. had a trail a bit like Viva Las Vegas but with things like 'corner kick' penalty (goal being JP) and when you won the repeat was called REPLAY and you watched the scores go up.
1 - 0.....2 - 0.....3 - 0.....4 - 0.....4 - 1..... 4 - 2.....4 - 3..... 4 - 4..... 4 - 5
final whistle YOU LOSE! lol

That machine had a stopper called DAPPLE.
however for those who haven't played it, CANCEL is the same as START.
so you 'try' cancel to slow it down and it stops.

Numbers in view can sometimes be crap too.

Re DaemonX's post...yeah Las Vegas Strip by Barcrest (which is emulated) and Andy Gray's Super Soccer by BWB which I don't think IS emulated. Lol@Super Soccer, in a strange kind of way I quite liked this but rarely won on it. As you say 4-0 and then you'd get a draw.....final goal.......4-5 you lose. What a machine. So many ways to lose. Another trick was giving 99 nudges and NEVER landing on a nudge square. Rah! I'd love to see it emulated. I might use that SEARCH featue before anyway says anything. I'll check on Party Time Arena and see if that has been emulated as well. If not why not? And no smart arse replies about HUBER PLOOBER 6 technology not being emulated yet.

OK. Worst bonus. Surely BFM take the prize with 'Star Prize'. This machine had a bonus called 'Respin a Reel'. Not RESPIN all three reels but just one. Respin ONE PIGGIN' POXY REEL. Gee thanks!

As for the options given - Boosts can be universally crap on something like Gridrunner. NEVER gets you on. Almost never. Ok. Hurricane, boost NEVER EVER gets you on the board. Pacman ADD AGAIN as you say. Overall though, given its USELESSNESS on the recent Barcrests and its general shittiness (only good on Battleaxe and some older Barcrests - Son of Dracula?) I have to nominate 'ADD AGAIN' the worst bonus in the history of Bonii. (*)

Oddly enough, I am personally working on implementing some "Huber Poobler" tech into an emulator I am writing, and hope to have it finished some time during the year 2037.

I think that is the tech that Party Time runs on too! :-)

Weren't there a few footy-based fruities in the mid-90's - a Maygay one where there was a CRT screen, another TWO, I think, with band-aids ("SO HERE IT IS") with a 'Nessun Dorma'/'World In Motion' sample for the JP/£3repeat, and a final one, which had a 3D zigzag trail on the upper glass, with the goal at the top - was that Andy Gray's one, or am I thinking of that one from '96, where the Jackpot symbols were 3D BWB logos?...

OK, worst bonus, or more accurately, what really pisses me off about getting a crap boost which stops at 5 - is when the machine shouts "YEAH!!!!" at you, as if you just got the top feature or something - "YEAH" fackin what, exactly???

The worst bonus is add again on QPS's pacman, cash-lab and hotwheels as the bonus is 4 but the trail start is 9. Whats the point????????????

Hello, long time listener, first time poster.

What about the add again on Barcrests Pot Black. Wasn't the trail something like 11 spaces long? Add again and you were still miles short. Never could understand why they did that. At least Cashlines had a second Bonus square further along it's 15 (15!!???!!) space trail.

One of the reasons i love the monty pythons holy grail machine.

Random bonus from 1-12? and each spin it would change. i remember getting a skill bonus on the last number on the trail and getting chose a trail which would only go higher than the current position. made an easy jackpot with that many a time.
