well done m8.
due to the combination of wins etc. you will find the longevity of the machine is far more than an average £25 jackpot machine. my personal favorite was cashino 500. it could play that for hours and hours and never get bored. There is one at work and it always makes me think of the original s16 software on it and linked progressives!
I had a £500 before but it was a Bell Fruit Random Spinner on B3 rather than Sec 16, and while I enjoyed some mammoth sessions on it, it did bore me to tears. The feature wheel was complete crap and the closest I got to the jackpot was a £20 win gambled red / black to £480 before it auto-collected. I'm hoping this will give a JP at some point with a bit more fanfare and the features are definitely more entertaining
I would actually have preferred the poker one over Random Spinner - can't remember what it was called right now but it had the same wheel feature, albeit triggered on losing hands of poker. I was looking to get hold of a program card to convert it, but gave up and swapped the machine for a Bar X
I'm going to stick with my Club Clouseau (30p @ £250), Deal or No Deal 'The Big Deal' (25p/50p/£1 @ £70) and this on £1 @ £500. That way I've got a nice mix of machines.
In some other news, dad seems to really enjoy the DOND - which has cheered me up! Not playing with his own money as neither of us want to profit from the other, but I keep it floated and he knows where my cash is to play it with. He even really likes the look of the Monty Python - again it'll be only my money in it, but it's nice to know he can 'share' in my little machine collecting hobby.
In other news, I'm going to be breaking my Road to Riches for spares to make room - it's a shame but it's not working 100% (I've had to bypass one of the upper door switches for the moment and it's got a dubious history anyway - but was a fun project and nice to get it working!). Will probably keep the glass in it's frame though as for some reason I like keeping the glasses from machines I scrap
