I run a p4 3.06 ghz and it runs at quite a reasonable speed.
Try raising the number in the second speed box that is located below the first one.

...Have you got any other programs running in the background,eg anti virus or file sharing programs () cos these can slow the machine right down..........
Its quite an ok speed to me too!!!

There were mentions that having a Flash animation active while playing MFME was causing a speed increase, I'll have a look now.
Basically it would involve having say a flash banner on the screen while you were playing the emulator. Mad, I know, but seems to work for quite a few people
I reckon it is just an excuse for Tony & Chris to stick flash banners into the next version for advertising revenue [joking!]

Lol, It'll be out when it is out. I'm getting loads of college stuff done at the moment, but it should be available -soonish-, it depends on how much free time I have tonight!
I'll keep people updated....

i`ve only recently downloaded this machine and what a really nice emulation this is,the machine looks really nice in full screen, and it plays a darn good game.
i noticed it could`ve done with being a tad faster and upped the speed which made minimal difference.
it doesn`t spoil the game though and i guess thats the main thing

Can anyone help me get this running in MFME? I've done numerous searches but can't actually find any instructions. I tried running it in MAME too but it's giving an error that some files are missing
Cheers!

it runs in mfme 3.2 i think .My problem with was even though speed was ok its impossible to move the cursor quick enough to do any of the challenges which is a shame as i enjoyed that particular swp in the wild.Of course it was as bent as a £9 note as if it didn't want to pay out there wouldn't be enough gold tokens in the dome to win

Cheers,
What file to I need to open in MFME though? I've tried one of the ones i downloaded (there were about 10 in total) and when opening it nothing happens!
I used to love playing this too, classic SWP!

Gents you are confusing MAGE and MFME here.....
The AWP machine will run on MFME, SWP is a video based set-up, this is where the MAGE swings in.....
Just popped-in, and hopefully you can search the differences or someone will clarify.....if its not done by the time i'm home i'll define a little better.

Um it should run in MFME, check the thread title. I'm sure MFME supports it.

I've just tried it on my dual core in 3.2 and it working albeit odd..it boots up, gives you 5 seconds in the dome and then no gold or silver. Get the game over screen then MFME crashes

It does run in MFME but the mouse polls very poorly meaning you cannot easily win on it (read as impossible) it runs in a window on the desktop so its very easy for the mouse to f*** off across the screen after only being moved a short distance.

Well when I open it in MFME it doesn't seem to do anything. It attemptes to open it in MAME but then gives me a message saying some of the game files are missing!
