Ive been thinking of buying a fruit machine for a while now but just wondedered what i should go for.
Would want a machine which had an interesting feature board
What sort of money am i looking at on average for a fruit machine? and is it worth buying from ebay instead of say a shop, i think there was a place in maidstone that sells old ones.
Could anyone suggest any good £5/15'ers that wont cost the earth these days?
also if anyone knows where i could buy one in the south east.
it would be for personal home use.
cheers
Buying a machine

Certainly worth checking ebay out, picked up my last fruity for 21 quid, only 25 quid local delivery. Prices vary wildly but you can often pick up a modern 25 pound jackpot machine for 100 ish (sometimes less)
Delivery is often costly, if not local, around the 40 to 60 quid mark roughly. You may not get a warranty if bought from a private seller on ebay.

The ones I have seen seem to be around 5 foot 10 inches or so, usually less than 6 foot. Some may be taller I guess, but most are around this size or less.
A few years ago I bought 2 fruities (never got em working shame....) and transported them (2 trips) in the back of a metro city x
Tought job, and I thought the car would collapse under the weight, and I couldnt close the back door, but I managed it..
They are heavy, usually around 120 to 150 or so kilo, so make sure you can get it into the van, maybe take a little trolley to move it with also.

whilst buying your fruit machine is all good fun, when you play a machine without the money aspect its as boring as hell. either get a club machine or hide the keys for a while and only use your own money, otherwise you have nothing to play for.
