Any experts on this machine may be able to answer my query.

Was playing the £5jp version earlier, and the following scenario occured:

Got invincible mode, and almost straight away got hi-lo notes red (upgrade), but was still low on the cash ladder. I carried on around the board for a bit, during which time i rolled in an 11. Anyone who's played the machine will know the hi-lo notes goes £2 start, win hi-lo another £3, win hi lo again another £5, win hi lo again another£5 and so on.

My question is: If i was on an 11, in invincible mode, on hi-lo notes, if i went higher than an 11 on my first hi-lo (ie, to win £3 to make total of £5) would I have won? obviously, on a 12 it would guarentee me another £5 from going lower on the next hi-lo being the reason i would go high on an 11. however, surely invincible mode means jp, and losing on an 11 would result in winning only £2, thus not jackpot??

BWB Smokey Bikin is identical to Barcrest Spiker the Biker, which I own, and have run on £5/10p.

The IM basically means if you play the board, it will not kill you, and will eventually offer you the choice between the Hi-Lo notes and the JP Repeat. It does not guarentee you will win on the first number of Hi-Lo notes, although you may find it'll let you win it every so often.

Same as any machine, whereby an IM will offer JP or Top Feature, but I've had IMs and the Top Feature has given less than the JP [i.e, Mega Streak on Mazooma High N Mighty being £24, although the feature is one above a JP and you would expect £25.

The IM is exactly that - invincibility, but not a guarentee that a top feature will give the JP, or that any gambles on a feature will be a JP.

As an example, I remember a feature, Hi-Lo cash type thing on JPM Viva Rock Vegas [at least I'm pretty sure it was on Viva Rock Vegas, might have been another machine - was it Dinos Dough?]

You start on £1, the lowest point on the cash ladder. You can Hi-Lo up the ladder, but rather than simply 'moving up' the ladder, every time you move up it adds that amount to the bank.

Say the ladder goes :

£1.00
£1.20
£1.60
£2.00
£2.40
£3.00

You would have £11.20 by the time you were at £3.00. Even on an IM I reckon you would struggle to get £25 or more from such a feature :)

Sorry if thats a pretty incoherent supply, my diet is making me feel a little odd at the moment :D

cheers, thats a fairly solid reply. just wandering if a top feature such as hi-lo notes can give you anything less than JP, ie in this case £2

Yeah, but not on Smokey Bikin or Spiker the Biker I don't think.... that is for a Red feature though, not the normal Blue notes. To be honest, I think every time I've taken Blue Hi-Lo notes I've had a JP as well :)

Put it this way, if all you have to eat within 48 hours is 2 Slimfast milkshakes and 2 pretty light Cup a Soups, a bread roll cut in two, and near enough unlimited sugar free ribena stuff, DON'T drink spirits, I think my stomach is melting :)
