Best way, is follow the dress code I put earlier, and just generally mill around, trying to not attract attention to yourself, bearing in mind they can and will kick anyone out who is not trade basically, hence the need to be a bit low key
As for playing machines, hell this is what this event is all about, being hands-on

Indeed, however even without the Jamesy connection, I still would go to this place..... it's not much of a pub, but it feels like home if you know what I mean (Big open log fire and all, just what you need for the cold streets of the Euston area), and also the beer prices are pretty good..... also the pub cat is soft as hell
I'll try to see if I can find the place on Google Maps.

Thank FCUK Google has a memory of an Elephant....... found it in my maps history.
It's The Cock Tavern, located at 23 Phoenix Road, just up between Euston and St Pancras (Closer to St Pancras)

Just to give this thread a bump...... show is due to start in two weeks time, and I can also confirm that I WILL be attending on Thurs 5th, so if folks want to meet up, can do so at either St Pancras, Bank, or Custom House stations, and afterwards if time allows, quick drink in that Irish pub between Euston and St Pancras stations afterwards

Just want to bump this thread and see if any others are going at all ?
I'm 80% booked for the 5th.

K folks..... role call time!
If you are coming on the 5th, need to know where to meet up if you want to go as a group.
I'm coming in via St Pancras station and expect to be there at around 10am, then going from there via Bank Underground, and on to the DLR to Custom House, at a guess, around 11am, so can meet at either St Pancras, or main entrance to Excel itself.
If you require my mobile number, drop me a PM, or give samson81 a shout.
Just been on to the Real Ale Twats page on FB, and managed to get a few good suggestions from members for pubs worth going to, with The George located near Cross Harbour DLR looking good

Just a note of warning if anyone is planning to travel via the Lemington Spa area to this event on Train....... line is closed due to a land slip, which is looking like it will take at least a week to clear if not longer.

Well..... ICE this year was pretty shit!
Only two machines worth mentioning..... this high tech BFM machine based on Queen (Sounds are shit hot), and another from Astrocrat..... Ted, and yess all the dodgy antics, and bleeped out swearing are on it....... oh, seat also vibrates
Another honourable mention, is for Merkur, for bringing back those Games Unlimited rigs from last year, and we have a green one too this time to go with the other
