got a fruit machine last year an was thinking of putting it in the local chipper and the boss said fine I have to fill it an he wants 70euro a week from the money it takes in wants nothing to do with it an just get his 70euro every sat. its a 35euro jp machine so what do you guys think? iv played it with the door open im still not sure I must get a couple of 100euro and fill it an see how much I put in to get jp do you think its worth my while sure they wouldn't be there if the person was loosing money id say anyway haha thanks in advance for any help or advice

Welcome to the forum.
Although I am considered to be quite well versed in the law where it relates to fruit machines in the UK, I don't really know how it works in ROI - at least I'm assuming that's where you're located, from the references to Euros and your email address!

im up to date with the laws im just thinking will it be worth my while with the profit after I give the boss a cut every week people mite play it for the first few months an then I could be at a loss if hardly any one plays it. im not sure how da machine pays out an stuff im sure you can set the percentage il try it tomorrow an see I mite need more then one fruit machine if im gonna make any money at all was thinking of getn another fruity from the money I make outa the one I hv that mite take a while haha

It would be unusual to promise a set amount to the site - it certainly doesn't work like that over here!

yup il chat to him again he was asking for 90euro a week got him down to 70 il say it to him about the share but he mite want to put money in then when im filling it if I hv to I told him id fill it myself he was fine with that id say il chance it for a month or two if it dosnt work out il ask him to profit share ill see what happens :)the machine is hard enough to pay id say judging from the free play. its called dr Jekyll & mr hyde from vivid fun machine to play

Back when I sited SWPs on profit share the float (the money that was put in initially) was irrelevant in the equation - if I put in the float then that money was mine, if the landlord put it in then it remained his.
Any money that was in the machine after the float money was accounted for would be split, then the float went straight back in for another week.

yup I get what you mean thanks il put it in next week an let you know how im getting on I must play it with money for a few days make sure it all works an stuff and make sure I know about the settings in it as well iv never played it for real yet just with the bottom door open hope it all works ok. thanks again

Yes it's important to play it properly, the characteristics of play can be very different in demo mode to how it plays with real money...

I used to do this myself years ago when it was allowed by the councils, half of them use to get broken into most months, bloody inside job (staff).
