Yes its probably been asked mainy times on here before, but as I,ve seen a small influx of new members joining up I thought I'd ask again.

So whats your favourite emulated machine.

Does it hold special memories maybe your first machine played of which you've got hooked on slots ever since.

or does it play extremely well, even for a 2p or clubber machine, or is it because its a layout of exceptional quality.

I love the clubbers Andy capp , crazy fruits, casino crazy all different manufactures but equally very playable.

2p blue streak as played this a lot in my youth, many years ago lol.

And of course the barcrest's Cash counter and take two both were played a lot when my addiction started.

and there's many, many, many others but can,t list em all.

The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.
Fme is alive and screaming into the 21st century!
Enjoy FME and Happy Gaming!!!!

For many years I played the Pete Walton DX of Line Up, because this was my favourite version. Since September 2013 I have played this machine to death, it is the Fruitworkz version of Line Up. The quality of this release is absolutely fantastic, but let down by the reels and the poor sound replication of MPU3 by MFME. However I believe this is going to be rectified in Amber, when MPU3 is emulated in Amber MK2. For those who have yet to stumble upon this masterpiece, I link to it here. I play this at least a couple of times a week and never tire of it.

Regularly used to empty JPMs CIRCUS by slowing down the loin tamer feature, didn't last long though, the 'stardust' staff would switch it off when I walked in 'B****tds'.

Not my all time favourite though, the most enjoyable all round game in my opinion has to be ELECTROCOIN'S LABYRINTH

(keep hoping that one of you geniuses will emulate it soon!) :cute:

It has to be Cops n Robbers the AWP version for me, but others I enjoy are Circus JPM DX by ploggy, Fairground DX and either Road Hog or Hot Rod.

Compost Corner's various low tech versions of Project Coin DX's, excellent quality DX's of great machines. In terms of absolute quality in Dx'ing, you just can't top Fuzion & Pook DX releases, all from these 2 are beautiful!

For me has to be Ace's Poundstrecher and clones, made a fortune on these days gone back haha, also Cloud 999 has to be the best lo tech streaker around, especially when it nudged for a jackpot nudge, you knew it was the start of the streak, they were in all the pubs in sunny Blackpool at the time.

Project machines were also really good, starting with Jokers Wild with the 3 nudges trick, 7 Heaven and Reflex also being good, but my favourite Project has to be Sevens and Melons, Listening for the click for Jackpot hold!! Silcocks in Blackpool changed theirs to £6 jackpot, and ruined the game, hold 2 7's or Melons and no nudge!! WTF lol

Growing up in Blackpool i was lucky (unlucky cos got addicted at an early age) to play lots of the great machines in their heyday, Coral Island had a bank of Cloud 999's,  a circle of Poundstrechers, and Top gears and Top the Lot together, plus loads of Castle machines, like cashbolt, Revolution and the game where it did the £2 repeat upto £50 which was unheard of the time, I remember getting something like £38 of repeats!!

They also had Cashfalls and Supatrak which always were buzzing in the season, Ahh happy days :-)

Anyhow , I am very lucky to be able to play these amazing games on the emulator, so thank you to everybody that has made me happy to remember my miss spent youth!!

Dont forget Cash Counter!!!

Wish I had took photos back in the day of Coral Island, The pleasure Beach and all as the arcades were amazing compared to the arcades of today. sorry for rambling haha.

Good post, I bet itbwas excellent to see all those classics in rows. Coral island is a shadow of its former self, just awfull. Its all down to greed.

Coral Island as more staff than custom!

It's been up for sale years now Tommy, but as Blackpool is still stuck in recession land-nobody wants to invest in anything here.

I enjoy visiting the East coast(Scarborough,Bridlington etc) for the arcades, as they tend to get more visitors and have a better mix of slots.

And the arcades are kept clean and appear to be maintained. Unlike here where they real don't have any enthusiasm any more.

That said it is real sad as I used to love going on holiday to Blackpool-sadly it is a shadow of it's former self in many areas. :err:

I would line my garage and get a decent carpet in there-lol.

Then I would buy a 4 player Hokey Cokey,a 4 player party time and a 4 player bullion bar.

I wouldn't mind a token Crystal maze and cluedo slot too-if I could squeeze  them in.

One can dream. :lightbulb:  :nah:

Sadly most of the old Astra slots are not only fading fast, but Astra will not supply parts or maintain the above slots.

I have spoke to a few arcade owners in Cleveleys and they say it is a battle to keep the slots maintained as parts are so sparse.

Most Hokey Cokey screens were smashed or cracked by irate and frustrated gamblers!! :err:

Why do people smash and damage slots!-real sad when it is us who feed them, nobody tells us to play them.
