Just wondering how people feel on machines being authentic in look but playing (imo) very cumbersome and keyboard centric --- against machines which have obvious visual alterations in terms of action buttons but play well in terms of mouse control and immersiveness?  I'm thinking JPM emulation.

I ask this cause I'm interested in enhancing the experience of playing fruit machine emulation and would like to contribute.

Given a true open-source reign -- I reckon we could create a much better experience, put smiles of peoples faces and get a lot more people involved.

Aside some coinage spurting out through my USB port --- surely its about smiles and kicks?

If I didn't know any better I'd have sworn this post was from 12+ years back when layouts didn't have clickable images for buttons.  Almost all layouts these days are properly playable via mouse and have been for years.  It seems you've been using very old layouts designed to run on the JPemulator.

As for your comment "true open-source reign", I'm not exactly sure what you meant.  Maybe you'd care to elaborate?

as per my post, im talking about JPM Emu -- there seems to be tons of machines which are all over the place -- please guide me to the ones which are properly playable via a mouse and reliable on keyboard input for people who cannot use a keyboard,

true open source --- its something which is put out for everyone to contribute, enhance in their own way, upload and allow others to repeat the process.  commonly known as progression.

There was a few versions of jpemu, the layouts you were playing could be from a version that didn't support graphic buttons.
Hold the bells mate.
