Have just done a board for full blast sound, first check pins 1 and 2 of IC20 and IC22 (connected together ie pin 1 on IC20 connected to pin 1 on IC22) trace the tracks past the battery area then make sure there making connection. If ok, turn down the volume, if the LEFT side will turn down but the RIGHT side stays at full blast then remove IC22, sound will then be controable on the left with no sound on the right, then replace IC22 with a good chip, sound was then fine on both channels.
Now I have the sound side working on my scorpion 4 test rig (FTU) sound checking is so much easier!!
