To be honest the game is designed to be played with a trackball. I can add trackball support no problem.

What specific 'stealth' machines were released. Is it worth emulating? Was there that many machines released on this tech or was this tech an upgrade or alternative that ran a more familiar tech.

Not going to happen. IF I do emulate an Electrocoin tech, it will be either Bar-X mk1 (Baby Bar-X), or the high tech games.
OXO and Magic 7's run on phoenix tech (I believe), and is still in use.

Maybe joypad support would be better.Either way it would be nice to be able to play it with proper control .

Depends on the games and how they work, trackballs and joypads aren't immediately compatible, depending on how it's being used.

Someone was working on it at one time, they posted some screenshots from the debugger, but it was never running 100%.
Although I am planning on looking at screen play tech (M1 Video), so hopefully we'll see it at some point.
