Ok, I've decided that as the official Poll option restricts you to 10 choices, I'll have a manual poll. Basically, you can post your choice, and I will add your vote to the section below
If you want to just post the number, or an abbreviation [i.e GUAB] that is fine
If you do not want to post in public your choice, then feel free to PM it to me!
If your favourite machine is not there, I will add it, just ask

By the way, the vote for Top of the Pops is actually from me, used to play a £10 version with dad, LOADS of question repetition and easy to see what it is willing to give. Quite easy to force the £10 out and funny watching Noel Edmonds acting like a prat

Well, with MFMEv2 being worked on at the moment, you never know when more MPU4 machines can be emulated [and with more stability!].
I'm not one to request stuff, but I'm still not sure why noone seems to have implemented Impact video? Unless there was a shortage of machines on that platform compared to MPU4 video?
Maybe it is the touchscreen emulation, whereas MPU4 only used buttons and trackballs [IMHO]?
I'd guess that apart from that IMPACT should be easier as IMHO theres no protection on any ROMs

So thats a like a video based board game? I'm not aware of it, but as long as it is video based and not a normal fruit machine I'll add it for you

yeh its on the new multigame Itbox's etc., sometimes under the "classic games" tab, you have to complete skill games a bit like old machines like crystal maze then if you complete them you get 1/2/3 stars, and if you collect enough stars ( different every game so when its dead you wont ever get enough! ), you get to the money prize ( £1 to start ) and you can carry on ( dont lol, the games get 1000* harder after £1 ), and win more money if you get a load more stars.... However as I said too hard to complete the games after £1, or £2 at a push, so no-one does... rather a craze I might say in our town lol, everyones at it!

I honestly can't remember... I did used to play it in college, it was £5 JP / £1 stake and would normally pay out the JP within £3, a very easy to force stake/prize
I'll add Telly Addicts to the list, I used to play that with mum and dad but t was probably about 10 years ago so I don't recall anything from it

*bump*
I thought this would be quite a popular poll, but the 10 or so votes so far prove otherwise
Is it because you can't just click a button and press 'vote'?
I would have run a standard poll, but felt that the lack of space [only 10 choices allowed] would have led to people not voting as their favourite machine isn't there.
EDIT] I've 'stickified' this topic so it will now stay at the top of the Real Fruit Machines forum, just to see if it helps

I vote for a machine that came out shortly after the first Crystal Maze, but very much based around the same gameplay ideas. I think it was called the Dating game or the Mating game - something like that. If I can't have that I will go for the Crystal maze, endless fivers made from that whilst at Uni!
BC - Can't believe I forgot The Mating Game, by Barcrest - I've added it now, and a vote - thanks

My favourites are:
1. Suit Pursuit
2. Twenty Pound Turnover
3. DLT Treble Top
4. GUAB (never won a tenner on it though, saw someone in Norwich (1987) win 3 tenners in a row - wow that bloke was clever.... and quick!)
5. Treasure Trail (simply because it was one of the first, in a cab that was later used for GUAB)
6. Crystal Maze (although not strictly a Q&A quiz machine)
7. Tic-Tac-Trivia (mid 80s - First I remember playing)
8. Concentration (most won - Swindon 1995 £36 off £1)
9. Time Machine
10. Strike it Lucky
Love quiz machines, a gang of us used to go out of a weekend and improve our wealth significantly !
Great topic, lets hear some more of the memories.
