what planet were you born on baker? its doesn't bother us if the emulator never gets released, its the fact that he carrot dangled just before xmas and then disappeared without a trace, not a text, email, reply or smoke signal.

 

your sick of the take take take? well f*** you. i emailed him just before xmas when i had some time on my hands and asked if there was anything i could do. i didnt ask for anything in return.

 

 

 

if he wants a week, month or gap year, that of course is his prerogative, but to `carrot dangle and foxtrott oscar` as a poor show and hes become somebody of the same ilk as wizard with his bag of rotten carrots.

 

if hes ill, personal problems etc. we ALL understand, but that small txt is all it takes to get people to be sympathetic and understanding, or darn right frustrated and think hes rude.

Unfortunately it clearly is bothering a lot of people.
I didn't say everyone is on the take.. but it happens a lot.. I bet his pm box is full of messages begging to be play testers etc.. just so they can get a sniff of it.
All I'm saying is if he chooses to not post, that's up to him.. He doesn't 'have' to post an update.. Ok some may see it as rude because he gave a release date but hasn't given an update or whatever in ages.. but again, people questioning it's genuine'Ness and calling him a carrot dangler and getting on their high horse certainly ain't gonna encourage him to finish it... is it??

i guess if yourself, a tester, doesnt know the answer then nobody does.

 

its been suggested to me it was some kind of hoax that got out of control. i really could prove or disprove that. personally i dont think he will ever log on again (not under his own name), but like everybody else, i will and have - hope.

i might be wrong but i think people did gather resources for epoch so actually these people are entitled to some sort of update.Anyway without wanting to rake up old coals wizard left because he was unwilling to acede to mame's request with regards to the code he used from them not because of his unsatisfied fan club .

Firstly we care for the well being of KC and hope hes ok health wise etc and nothing bad has happend.

 

Secondly the reason why people are acting the way they are (including me) questioning if its fake or real is because KC promised an update on the emu status before xmas, maybe he could of said he would be too busy to post updates etc until mid 2015, would of taken 30 secs or so. We all know what the scene is like when someone promises something, 1 day late and it all turns into a major war.

 

Again, hope all is well with KC.

Agreed.  I'd be happy with an update to say the whole thing is canned.  At least we'll then know.  As it stands, all the testers, resource gatherers and layout designers are sitting wondering what to do.

It's nice to know you have...

 

...however, I'm sure if you've spoken to him you would've made him aware of the situation within FME and the lack of clarity on his part for the continuation of the Epoch emulator.

 

As you're aware - Guitar is willing to implement Epoch into his new emulator when it is released... if killcrazy has abandoned it - or indeed doesn't want to even post here at Fruit Emu anymore - then at least you could've asked him this, and posted as much, or for him to have some kind of courtesy, one way or the other, to come and say 'yay or nay' with the continuation of Epoch.

 

In my opinion - this has gone on for far too long - and if members are in contact with him - like you are... some clarity from either himself or the members in contact with him would be helpful for the FME scene to move on.

 

As you've said... "he's alive and well" - so therefore there is absolutely no reason why a simple post to just to make clear the position we are in couldn't be made... and if he doesn't want to come back - someone state this for him.

 

It's all well and good saying "I know this, I know that and I know the other" - we don't!

Hi tommy, i enjoy your layouts by the way.

I think it needs to be locked to draw a line under it. Its obvious that theres no epoch emulator forthcoming for whatever reason. Its not owed to anyone in the emu community but at the same time keeping this thread open fans the flames and provides attention to someone who for whatever reason doesnt want to engage with the fruit emu community anymore.

Time to draw a line and move on.

No i agreed with all of your earlier post.

I does come across be it intentionally or not, of an "inner circle" mentality when its posted x spoke to y and z says that x is ok.

Theres nothing stopping kc or any of those in contact with him posting any update on epoch emu even if its along the lines of " theres no emu so nah nah nah nah nah.

To not do that screams of attention seeking behaviour all of which can be stopped by padlocking this thread.

Just my view put politely but as bluntly as i can.
