Hello, can anyone help or have suggestions on how i can sort this?

i have an issue with nv9 note acceptor on double action slotto, it keeps flashing red / green which means cash box full (but its not) If i unplug the notey, then plug it back in it will work fine for a while then in the middle of game play it will make a noise like a self test and then acceptor light goes out and im back to square one! I want to avoid replacing the notey as they are quite expensive and would rather try to fix IF it is possible?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

you need a new nv9.

BTW never NEVER unplug and reconnect a note acceptor when the machine is on. it can lead to all sorts of trouble.

as for the note acceptor, the reset is a classic sign its on its way out. scan fleabay or just go direct to jnc.co.uk

10p hopper jam error but nothing jammed. It's a coin control mkii and I bought a sch maki on eBay thinking that would work (as plugs were same) but soon realised it wouldn't. Gave me comms error and would not boot. Plugged old hopper back in and boots up perfect just won't pay 10p's. I have tried cleaning, swapping out the motor, even swapped out the lights as I thought a blown sensor light would cause this but still same issue! I got another one on the way which is coin control £1 hopper I'm hoping will work but if that fails I will be defeated!! I have voltage checked plug and think it all looks normal but over my head tbh. Any suggestions would be a big help!!!
