OK we ALL know that if you hold 2 crosses, bars or JPs on Astra's Party Time, on the 3 hold it'll spin in the matching symbol yeah?

I held two bars 4 times today and it didn't spin in the 3rd.  I was so surprised by this I even mentioned it to the arcade owner who told me that he'd also seen it a few times before.  Its the first time since I started playing Party Time years ago that I've seen it or even heard about it.  I just wondered if this had happened to anyone else.

I've had this happen on a golden game before. XXX's 3 times and it didnt roll the third in. Its programmed to always roll it in third time but I suspect something bent going on there. I have a video of it happening

Was it in a quicksilver or nobles? If so they have a data update for theres and they ate terrible.

Nope just a seaside arcade with an original Party Time which played how you would normally expect - apart from this unusual occurance. 

 

No idea of the rom version but I suspect its not been updated for quite sometime.

Very true dad the bars normally roll in on 3rd hold, the x's occasionally 3xhold the jackpots used to hold three times when they first came out but never go past the second now. Also I've noticed how tight they've become in the last few years to such an extent they can easily take £20+ for a board and only gives two quid

Depends which machines it was , if it was the 2p play one then yes they wont hold a 3rd time.

I have never seen third hold not role in on any Astra, though to be fair it's extremely difficult to achieve this on the 10p play version.  Obviously some sort of isolated quirk.   Bit of a pisser though.

Do they 3x hold on jackpot as not seen or had that happen for years if at all. I've had the jackpot from various nudge tricks remember getting two from two consecutive spins, first was a basic roll in second the middle nudge set up straight after, certainly pissed the doley skanks watching lol.

Could just be a glitch, ive played machines and had odd things happen. Could be running some bad software and hasnt been updated for years, you just dont know with machines. A local arcade near me (im good friends with the manager) bought a 2006 Model Astra Double Decker with orginal software on it (was somthing like version 1.0.2) and there was about 30 different revisions for the machines on that year, they put new sofware on it and they wanted £80EACH for ONE security chip! and all it did was make the machines shite, no gameplay to them at all!
