I notice you have an amount of how much you need to raise for the month, do you reach the amount you need?

The amount is an approximate amount to run this site on a month by month basis. the amount is hardly ever reached, and the difference is funded out of Duplu's pocket..

Its a shame that. Whats the costs involved? is it mainly people downloading roms/layouts?

The site consumes between 200 to 500Gb of bandwidth each month and no hosting plan will provide that. Companies who advertise unlimited bandwidth for hosting would basically shut down an account using this much bandwidth.

Therefore the only way round it was to actually rent an entire server. The server is based in Texas and comes with 1.4Tb of bandwidth. Because we don't need all the bandwidth we also host other FME and non-FME sites - mfme.co.uk, m1adness.fruitemu.co.uk, dxcellent.com, sblnet.co.uk, dead-world.net, leadmetoit.co.uk to name a few.
