Hello all from sunny Durham, I am a long time player and love some of the older roms on here.

I code for a living mainly for android and ios apps, I was at work and thought about downloading some roms onto a ipad or mobile but i could not see anything on app store or itunes. Has no one ever released a mobile version of the emulators

All the best

Jonny

Hello and welcome, thank you for supporting the site

:)

Unfortunately playing the emulators on mobile platforms is not really a practicality at this time.

Welcome to the forums.

The closest thing that I've found that is set to Real Fruit Machines is the Reflex Gaming App that is available for both ioS and Android

Hi Jonny and welcome to Fruit Emu...

With your abilities to code - and all the resources we have available for FME purposes - perhaps YOU could be the one that brings us our first FME emulator to Android, iOS or OS X devices!

We have a vast library of our to create layouts, ROMS etc to play the machine - you may understand coding to make those particular resources work within FMEemulation? ;)

I hope you could give it a try! :)

Thank you for the welcome all, If all the source files are open source i am more than willing to have a go at an android workaround.

IOS could be for later as you are restricted to using approved tool kits for anything that goes on an apple device.

The roms look like basic c+ and so would not be hard to write into sdk..

Why? Be a bit like watching a divx film on your computer and not full screening it.

I agree if small phone screens were the only option, but with ipads and tablets with 10 inch screens and even larger mobiles would benefit from something to play rather than bloody candy crush whilst say on a tedious train or car journey

Just off top of my head but i am sure any app for fme would be a lot more forgiving in battery drain than most modern apps, that is a bonus
