I don't get quite as much spam but I did once manage to mail bomb myself!

I was using a script to alert me if anyone tried to hack into the server. A bonafide user got their username wrong a few times and the server e-mailed me about it. Unfortunately the script didn't check that the e-mail has been sent and before I knew it the server had happily sent over 36,000 e-mails to my in-box before I found out! I had to write a script to auto-delete them all.

Haha! Must have been fun!

Excellent re-do mate... Personally I'm not too sure about the grey background with this theme... but thats just me... I must admit, I am a closet VB fan...

Few things I thought I'd mention:
1- Maybe a lil box allowing you to choose smilies to insert into forum posts when making new posts?
2- Referrer links no longer work. Should I update my links to FE (My sites current one is: http://www.fruit-emu...s&file=out&id=4 ) to just the normal addy?
3- Links to other sites in the homepage link boxes should open in a new window??

The drop down link at the top should work now - there was an error if you accessed it from a forum page. The script errors are because of missing pictures I need to restore - I'm gonna restore these pictures are all the other for the downloads. This will be a final and ongoing job as the original site never had a picture for every download because of how tedious it was to manage. It's easier with the new setup.

Yep, change your link to a standard link to the site.

Thanks for the tip about new windows, a quick mod to the html at some point I think.

You can sort the first thing I mentioned a few posts ago (1- Maybe a lil box allowing you to choose smilies to insert into forum posts when making new posts?) by going into your user CP > Options and changing the editor interface to Standard from Basic

Agreed, it is now changed - the logo will take you back to the front page.

Going to take some getting used to, but Im like that everytime a site has a big redesign. Must say though, it is definately MUCH FASTER, the old code was very very slow (putting it mildly).

This zooms through now, no delays, no twiddling thumbs waiting for a page to load.

New logo is different, quite liked the old one, but sure it will grow on me

Erm. is this Fruit-emu.com ? my browser says it is but my eyes say different.

Change i ok, i mean i like change but i like simplicity too.

Gonna have to get used to this and one thing already stands out to be a pain to me is the bleeding pages button when looking at threads. you see pages 1,2,3,4,5 and think ok page 5 is the last one (as i usally like just skipping to the last message and reading up) but hang on , page 5 has 5,6,7 at the bottom, so which is the last page.

Other than that it looks pretty cool, certainly took me by surprise this morning.
