Hi,

 

I have a Barcrest Triple 7 machine and it has just started coming up with an Alarm:

 

ALARM!

Error Code 16

MPU Alarm: F3:8401 10p Hopper Fail

 

It just says "Attention... call manager."

 

Rebooted machine and after its validated the software, it comes up with the error every time. Nothing has changed on the machine.

 

I have re-seated all cables and UBS leads. Re-seated Hoppers and all cables.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way do you want to sell the machine? If so how much for, and what games are installed? Ta!

I've not actually collected any bank on the machine and this just came up in live autoplay, so I believe nothing to do with the hoppers.

 

Machine cost me £2k, and it's just this error that's stopping it working. Was fine, then the ALARM! came out of nowhere.

 

Machine has pretty much every Triple 7 game on it including the new ones... Pick n Mix, Monopoly's, and Reel em in, to name but a few.

10p hopper jam cleared, machine running sweet again!

The machine is coming up with ALARM! Error Code 16, MPU Alarm:F3:8401 and is shouting "Attention, call manager," again.

No coins in any hoppers and wasn't taking or paying any money at the time. Was literally playing it on auto play.

Can anyone help?

If nothing is jammed, you have a faulty hopper motor.

I'm thinking that, but getting one is a nightmare. No arcade or distributors will touch anyone who ownes one for personal use.

Is there anyone else out there with a Triple 7 who can get replacement parts?

Need a hopper and top screen.

Hopper is just a universal hopper. Get one from anywhere. eBay.

 

Top monitor is Kopak or something like. Good luck getting one.

Hopper sorted, loose cable into 10p hopper. Monitor repaired.
