I've had to change jobs twice in 3 months, I don't get paid until 28th December so until then I am massively skint and working almost every day.

As such I've postponed my birthday (and xmas) until then.

But I appreciate the best wishes given to me on here from everyone, it's cheered me up a bit.

Also to clarify I don't have Epoch, AstraIO, or Scorp 4/5 running yet. AstraIO may never happen. I've spoken to DT about emulating various techs and AstraIO seems to be one of the ones he reckons will be very difficult security wise. But we'll see when I get that far though I have no reason to doubt him. Party Time is a loooooong way away from being tackled. Lets get Epoch and MPU4 Video running first and see where we go from there.

With regards Amber2, it's coming along nicely, there is a thread on DadsFme with more detailed updates, but for those that do not visit there for whatever reason here is a brief precise of where things stand.

The front end is done in terms of coding though it will need sorting out aesthetically before release.

The editor is in progress, I need to finish the edit panel off and add the extra tools, but components (lamps, reels, leds, displays, etc) can now be added and moved around.

Emulation wise, MPU4 (no video or plasma) is ready to go, and IMPACT is running in attract mode and needs switches / coin handling to complete, which is pretty easy to do when the time comes.

Edit: I would upload a screenshot but I get "this upload failed" consistantly. I have tried as .png .bmp & .jpg.

Time is the limiting factor but I have a window coming up where things will move along at rapid pace now that I have some job stability again.

The new editor will be really nice though, a refined version of the original Amber tooolset. Even in edit mode I am getting locked 60FPS and using between 4 & 8% cpu running IMPACT.
