Does epoch not emulate Astra games?  Is Party time one day gonna come to fruit emu? In real life there is now a £100.00 party time, which I am NOT repeat NOT gonna play, god help all the poor fools that still get £2.00 board ripped for hours after losing £350.00 to £400.00  to get a set of balloons for £25.00, taking ages to get a quid....then errr what a surprise £20.00 to £40.00 later, and already being hurtfully down...wham!! xxx £1, generously gives a > party time > £2.00....zzzzzip......get off. and it's not you bye bye...usually a lot of front glasses go through and have to be paid for.  Catch this machine in a happy mood only or its curtains for your hard earned lol :)  The one down my local beach kills everyone and puts buckets of cash in the owners pocket!!!  Is why emulation is king.  no risk, no gambling, no problem.  (Apologies to moderators if I have posted this in the wrong place)

I think party time is run on a tech called pluto and the security is pretty tight from what I have heard.  Part time is shit along with most other astra games, with the exception to big 10 and clones. I would prefer mpu5 reds and the earlier scorpion 4 games with cctalk emulated. Partt time is better off stayung were it is, in bingo halls and agc, s fleecing the granny button bashers.

Party Time runs on AstraIO tech. The security may be passable with a brute force hack, but It'll take a while to run (days/weeks), and could well change from machine to machine.

In other words, not likely anytime soon.

Techs likely to get emulated soon are Epoch, MPU4 Video, Castle, & Scorp 4 (w/ cctalk sort of).

You tease us.

Not really, but don't expect them this week or anything. The editor and front end still needs work and there is no point writing emulations until I can do something with them. I have MPU4 and IMPACT as test techs to get various components working (reels, lamps, displays etc), but until the front end is complete I wont be doing any more emulation.

Time is not on my side at present, there is progress but it is slow and steady.

Best take some pics of my machine (2008) in readiness for scorp4 with cctalk. Will this mean £70ers being emulated? What about the early party time 1998 do they run the same tech as later editions
