Anyone who claims to be a 'die hard' FME enthusiast should head over to the MFME website and download a classic of probably one of the, if not, THE BEST JPM fruit machines from the 1980's

SUPASHIFTA is one damn playable machine even by todays standards.

If you do just 1 thing this week thats FME related, get over to the MFME website, download SUPASHIFTA and give it a play and give your thanks to the MDS and to Bugs for posting. I swear, you'll not be dissappointed with this game even though it's a classic.

This IS what FME is all about!

If I'm being honest, I wasn't that impressed - although I was forcing for JP so expected a bit of a kick in the teeth :)

Took £22 before giving JP, at that point I had £5 in the bank :o

Anyway, it offers gameplay, but I wouldn't say it was the most entertaining machine from that era I've played. Well worth a look though!

must admit dont ever remember this one, dont think they ever had one in sunny Margate when i was a lad and such a shame because this is a real classic.

layout designers never cease to amaze me - keep up the excellent work

Wow - I remember this machine. It came out just after the (original) Big Banker which was one of the 1st £4 machines in my area. Never thought I'd see it again though!

Great job!!!

I'd hazzard a guess at early 1987 when SupaSHIFTA appeared. The draw of this machine was down to the extra features available and the way they are awarded with the 'shift' feature. It was basically 'BigBANKER' with knobs on. I'm not going to say much about it yet except for this....

Remember this machine is about 20 years old and plays on just 10p a play. I know a lot of people are put off by the smaller jackpot and the lower stake but these were the top prize and stake machines in the late 80's. Remove this obstacle and what you find is a machine that becomes quite playable and skillful to play. Jackpots aren't to be forced here as a machine in the right mood will pay bugger all for '12 nudges + BONUS' yet will give you a nice £4 JP for simply landing 2 lowly bars or melons on reels 1 and 2.

Next to ACE's System 1 machines, these style of MPS machines were easily a cool 2nd place over Barcrest's MPU4 in my opinion. Yes, back in the late 80's, even Barcrest were a poor to average performer.

Tony.

Thanks for all the comments Compost & Co. By all accounts I take it you're a fan of this type of machine Compost? lol

Just to say many thanks to Bugs who finished off a couple of remaining lamps that needed ascertaining.

Cheers,

Mike

PS: deedsmob1, make sure you are using the current newest mfme public emulator (mfmev2.0), that should run it fine.
